Fun "Recappable" Comics Story: Betty and Veronica

Just came across this short Betty and Veronica story from 1947. Unusual in a number of ways, from being Archie-less to art style that's very unlike the Dan DeCarlo model.

The story looks ripe for a TG twist, too, and is short enough to be a good "starter" comic for anyone looking to try full-story recaptioning!

WOW! Thanks Helen, excellent story 7 use of captions. I love that the former girls are in chains in the basement.Nice touch. Question, it seems to be a body swap - is it?

Anyway I wonder what happens down the road? LOL!

I suck at recapting but if I could I'd have something like this.

"Dilton's body swap machine worked.'I love being Ronnie, Reg.'
"And me Betty, Archie. Dilton wanted Midge;s body. Big Moose better not find out!"
" Of course the girls aren't happy but what can they do?"
