Office parties, Dr. Strange, the early years, and especially Young Johnny would have had me LOLing if I had ever quite figured out the whole texting thing. Since I haven't, I just laughed out loud.

AUGUST: Hotel california is my favorite song. Looking at your take, the man must be the night man - If "SHE has lots of pretty pretty boys that she calls friends" maybe so does he :-)

When the song came out in the late '70's, I made a sign of "You can check out any time you like but you can never leave." and put it up above my classroom door. I alternated it with Dante's "Abandon hope all ye who enter here." My students loved both.

I also loved the old fashioned ones. I've done quite a few VG covers using fashion plates from Victorian era magazines.
