It's Theo-something. Can't remember. Anyone else know?

Thanks AlisonMcg67 for providing the link.

People need to join the "Tasteful TG Caps II" Yahoo! Group first to see that file folder, so the best link to start at is:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Tasteful_TG_Caps_II

I enjoyed looking at and reading the photo captions by Theophanu. In fact, I found the whole "Tasteful_TG_Caps_II" interesting because they require 'realistic' storylines for the captions, instead of the magic and SciFi transformations that are used for most TG photo captions.

There are two more Yahoo! Groups that also have realistic TG photo captions by Theophanu:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TastefulTGCaps

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Tasteful_TG_Caps_III

One thing different about Theophanu from most other captioners and recappers is that besides single photo captions, he has also done quite a few series that use several photos with captions to tell a full story.

Thats never happened to me before.

I just checked all three groups and there is no listed requirements for membership. They are still adding new members, so I don't know why your membership was denied.

I know that many of the TG-themed caption groups require that there be an age listed in the profile for your Yahoo! ID. Also, many Yahoo! Groups will not accept members if there is little or no information in the prospective member's profile.

You could try contacting the list owner, which is the last email address listed at the bottom of the main webpage for each group. For example, TastefulTGCaps-owner@yahoogroups.com, for TastefulTGCaps group.

Thanks for the tips. I rewrote the request. Maybe it was too sparse ("joined similar" was what I put originally.).

I am a moderator for several poetry mailing lists on Yahoo! Groups. Because of that experience, I usually try to be as helpful as possible when I apply to a group. I try to mention where I heard about the group, and why I am interested in the group.

A terse request for membership usually won't get you rejected for one of the groups I moderate, but it will usually guarantee that your posts and uploads will be moderated in the beginning.

I've found large groups (TastefulTGCaps currently has 881 members) are much more likely to shoot first and ask questions later, than smaller groups. Even small groups can some times have problems if you get a few trolls or other difficult individuals. :-(

Well, that did it. Thanks again.

It had crossed my mind for a moment that perhaps the whole female ID thing had caught up with me and I'd have to prove that I wasn't real.

Sounds like one of these stories!
