How come I never get any comments?

I've been posting fantasies (with Photoshopped images and text) on this site for a while now, and I used to get many enthusiastic comments on each of them. Now, I get tons of views, but nothing at all as far as comments go.

It seems to me that I'm doing exactly the same stuff that I used to do; nothing's changed. Does anyone like my stuff? Or am I just on a different wavelength than the rest of TGComics/TGCaps?

You're frustration about lack of feedback is shared by all of us who post here. It has to be a labor of love, or we'd never bother. If posting was dependent on feedback, it's unlikely that there would be much activity here at all. It's just a fact that you have to handle best you can, and decide whether your efforts are worthy despite lack of reactions from all those anonymous viewers.

Thanks for the response. I wondered if I'd angered the TGcaps Gods (Goddesses?) or whether I had gone off on some crazy tangent that had made my previously-liked submissions into something beyond the pale.

As Lorna says it can feel frustrating at times, I used to get really frustrated at times, these days I just go with the flow and allow that I am using this as a bit of a release.
Also, don't forget that not everyone will share our taste in artwork, humour or dialogue. We will find that some just aren't interested. Nothing we can do about that, although Jezz has started posting her work in the Forum to see if she can get more responses.
Keep trying and keep posting, you will find that there are those who will enjoy and will eventually respond,

Here's what we artists do: We post one of our pieces, or at least part of it, whether it is cut in half or has a very significant watermark on it that obscures a good portion of it. We make the statement that the rest of the art will be shown when at least 10 comments of significant value (to be judged by the artist), whether good or constructive criticism, be posted. This way it remains free but everyone wins, the artist and the viewers.
