Really like the 'dated' stuff (1081, 1089).
Mish-Mash#35 is my version of VG#1087.

"Grandfather's Love" - Clever use of the cover. I looked at that one but couldn't think of a plot.
"The Best Laid Plans" - Anyone who wears an ascot (I think that's what Americans call a cravat?) at the office is obviously up to no good.
"The Curse Of The She-Pharoah" - Technically the title "Pharoah" was not-gender specific, but who can resist good ancient Egyptian curse story? Not I!

I love the latest batch! #1128 gives me some new ideas - "Eyeshadow Physics" will definitely become part of the Jet Dream training regimen!

Great job, as usual, Jezzi.

Don't sweat the low levels of feedback. I think you've been around here (and the Internet in general) long enough to know that most people won't take the time to say what they feel (unless something really, really upsets them). It's so easy to take the good stuff for granted. Just remember that you're one of the best at what you do, and you can keep on thinkin' that until somebody says you ain't -- and then you can ignore them, 'cause they're idiots! :-)

#1112 is a good one. (And I'm Amanda!) I'm always amazed at how accepting the people of Riverdale are to crossdressing, and it's rampant in their town. What a wonderful place!

Love the picture in #1126. It's thought-provoking too. Talk about taking advantage...

#1230 is very good. (Shouldn't it be #1130?) Another tale of trust betrayed that leads to womanhood. That's a strong theme in TG fiction in general.

I can heartily second that!

Regarding 1138, fingerprinting actually would have been entirely appropriate for the TG fiction of 1896!

Another excellent set, Jezzi.

#1145: Great blonde, great look of terror, nice gag.

#1148: I've always liked the look of those 40s ladies in the war comics. Also, Bob and Betty -- a subtle tribute to the classic "White Christmas" movie?

#1149: Bit of a different style, but I love it! The hair is great and the inset pics are perfect.

#1230: Great story-pic combo. (Didn't we see that one a few weeks ago?)

More great work, Jezzi. I mean, that's what we've come to expect from you, so it's really no surprise. You've set your own bar pretty high. :-)

I especially liked #1207 ("Four Stories"), partly for the hairstyles and partly for the composition of the four panels on one page; and #1215 ("The Trashy Tranny") because the story is original and interesting (and I liked the hair). (Estro-gin? Yikes!)

Although the old-fashioned pics aren't my favs, I give you full credit for originality and for going against what might be considered the typical TG kind of caps.

On a side note, I think it's kind of weird when Archie and the others appear in caps under different names. Not TG-ified names, just some other ordinary name; like calling Archie "Richard" or Betty "Phyllis" (or whatever), even though we all know who they really are. Anyone else feel that way?

By the way, I think it's a good idea for you to step back a bit and do smaller updates. I was always surprised that you waited until you had 10 or 20 before uploading. If it were me, I'd do an update every time I finished a new cover. If it's done growing, then kick it out of the house! :-)

Amanda

P.S. The blonde in #1221, "Time for a Swap," appears to be trying to pull her face off. That might work nicely as a "holy crap, I can't remove this bodysuit" story.

Amanda - I agree about the Archie comics. It's hard to look at those characters and NOT see Archie and the gang.

It's a sticky problem, though. There's a lot of good source material in Archie comics, but the characters are so iconic that you either have to do "TG Archie Parody" (which can certainly be done, but might not be what interests you), or "recast" the characters, even though everybody will be thinking "Hey, that's Archie!"

Personally, that's why I focus on now-obscure or forgotten series, like "Millie the Model" and "Bunny," or the various unsuccessful attempts to emulate Archie.

But for covers, it's a minor issue, though I might consider some quick-and-dirty disguises, like changing Archie or Betty's hair color. (Altering a character with black hair, like Veronica's, is beyond my meager Paint Shop Pro skills.)
