Latest batch (931-940) --

931 (Blondie) -- hilarious!

932 (Wilbur, Jocko, and "Laurie") -- funny. (Remind me, what are "submarine races"?)

935, 936, 939 -- I like that you used things from your own life to get the idea for the cover.

938 (stepping out of the book) -- the blond man on the left doesn't look so "mild-mannered" anymore.

939 (Juan and Miguel) -- this cover covers an aspect of a TS's life that doesn't usually get addressed in fiction.

940 (Stan and "GI Josie" Dixie) -- interesting idea.

RE: watching the submarine races: another way of saying let's park and make out. Where I went to University there is (or was 40 some years ago) a large lagoon in the center of campus. Parking around it facing the water to watch the submarine races was the thing to do with one's special gal. Of course, since the submarines raced under water, we couldn't actually see them, which left plenty of time for "other activities". :-)

Being TG, teaching 8th grade, and acting has led to an interesting life - Oh, being a grandpa is the latest great adventure.

GI Josie is a recuring character starting with issue #202.

942 ("...A Big Surprise") -- when those two gurls find out what's what, they'll either get mega-violent toward each other or become the closest possible friends.

947 (The Bimbofication of the President) -- the fantasy possibilities of that are mind-boggling. Not to mention, the possibilities for political satire.

951 ("A Job For A Lady") -- I suspect that neither Robert(a) nor Mr. Jordan is being honest here.

958 ("It's Not Always The Women") --very clever variation on the cliché. And you did a superb job of capturing the formal speech of 1907. Dad's car seems ostentatious, BTW.

Awe, GG, 951 was my NICE one out of this batch. :-)

RE: formal speech of 1907. You might want to read Gwen Lavyril's and my "The Suffragette Redemption", set in 1903. It's at BC and Fictionmania.
