Vaingirls 841-850, particularly 843

VG 841 was a hoot. The cover reminds me of all those "wisher and evil genie" stories I've read.

VG 844 (being disowned publicly as a TG at a party) -- every TG's worst nightmare. If that's based on real life (someone who you, Jezzi, know), I feel for her.

847 ("Grace under pressure") -- Grace handled that first moment better than I would have.

No. 843 ("Framed, femmed, and furious") -- You can read that as Harry starting something that went in unexpected directions. My theory is that Stan got "punished" into dresses, which is what he'd been wanting the whole time. Sort of like a judge sentencing a young man to "community service" as poolboy at the Hefner Mansion.

841 - as far as I know, there were only four issues of Opposite Forces comics. I'm going to try and find them, as they look to be funny as all get out - though most likely not TG.

844 - Nothing personal about this one. The inspiration came from a short story by my sis, Gwen Lavyril. I think the kicker here is that pseudo-mom hasn't realized yet that she's also losing her "real" son.

847 - read just about any Janet Stickney story.

843 - I'll wait awhile and see if anyone else has a story idea for this one before I give my take on it.
