Loved them all, although I have to give the blue ribbon in this set to "Thanking Santa." Lorna's words on Sneyd's drawings seem to draw out extra humor from both.

Thank you.

All the feedback has been very encouraging, but the last batch has gotten NO response on this forum since being posted back on Jun 3 (4 weeks ago!). That's particularly disappointing since previously it was immediate, and positive.

When the mood takes over, I do recaps because I enjoy it, and post them to share with others who like to see what I offer. Femur has been generous enough to provide space here for some of my work, which I post NOWHERE else (my other stuff is in my Yahoo groups).

Anyway, if you like what I do, and have particular favorites, please don't be shy. Let me know what you think! You could even post a toon of your own if you'd like me to take a shot at recapping it for TG effect.

XOXOXO to all my fans,

Hi all
I have really enjoyed Lorna's recaps...
Especially 'Lifestyle change'.

They cheer me up after a hard work day.

Hugs

Well I don't have much of an excuse for not commenting before, other perhaps than the fact that I didn't discover this forum until 2nd June, but I certainly have enjoyed your single-panel recaps. Obviously humour is personal, so some seem funnier than others, but "MAU - Malfunction" tickled me (though I think I'd have tried to work the rather startled looking cat into the story...). Also "Gender Wave - Heels" is one of those intriguing pictures that starts one thinking... Why did the new girl who's complaining about walking in heels go the full sex-bomb route and choose 5" stilettos in the first place?

As regards commenting on the latest "batch" specifically, I for one can't identify which they are. Would it be worth having some sort of identifier on the thumbnails or somewhere?

Lorna:

I've enjoyed the recaps that both you and Femur have done and have used them as inspiration for my own clip art captionings. I apologize for not commenting on your latest efforts, especially since I've recently discovered what an egoboo it is to get appreciative comments.

Among your recent recaps, "Lifestyle and Dad", "Proposal", and "Special Cure" are the ones that I enjoyed the most.

For your older recaps, here are some of the ones that I've especially liked: "First Date" *, "Sharing", "Lifestyle Change", "Good Nutrition" *, "Gender Wave - Two Reactions", "Gender Wave - Model Aspirations", and "The Big Day with Hope". The two with asterisks are my favorites.

For AndiJF:

The Updates page says that there were 10 new Lorna recaps. The recaps were added to Lorna's recapped cartoons page from the beginning, so the first ten are her new recaps.

Just to give the forum members the benefit of doubt: I think that some of them might be more likely to comment on your work if they saw you occasionally participate in the forums, so they would know that you were visiting the website and would be likely to see their comments.

OH, you can bet on my visits, especially immediately after Femur posts my latest batch of work. Admittedly, my efforts are sporatic at best. Its just that the mood doesn't has a mind of its own, and a schedule that cannot be deciphered. But I most certainly do visit these forums, just as I stated in my very first post here after the Forums started. (see my 1st post under the other Recappers topic with my name on it)

Anyway, thanks to eveyone for your kind words. There're most appreciated!

I loved the new batch. I think "Losing It" is my favourite. I like the "story", and the new girl's outfit is so cute. In fact she's so well "put together" that I find it hard to believe it's her first time...

Another interesting group of recaps. I especially enjoyed "Wardrobe Adjustment", "Dream Day" and "Lab Accident".

I love all your work.
In the latest batch I'm partial to "Authentic Curse".
Now I just have to figure out where to get one of those parchments for myself :-)

Lorna,

Thanks for your re-captioned Playboy cartoons. I remember seeing some of the originals, I like your captions better.
