I haven't posted anything in a long while, but I got inspired by seeing some covers from "American Manhood - The Virile Magazine" on Twitter.
Some original covers are here, and a bit of background on the actual magazine:
http://www.menspulpmags.com/2010/10/american-manhood-magazine-didnt-ask-and.htmlI found the subtitle "The Virile Magazine" and juxtaposition of the cover text with the bodybuilding-style illustrations pretty amusing, like the magazine was constantly insisting "No, really, this is a magazine for manly men!"
Anyhow, it got me thinking, what if the magazine dealt with a new type of manhood that was gaining in popularity? What sort of pulp "men's adventure" magazine would result?
American Manhood - sometimes a little feminine, but ALWAYS virile!
