I would put in some sort of spoiler alert- only the very fact I'm posting here is a spoiler in itself! This issue is public domain, so I'm posting the whole story:

Is the theory that the absence of hair = man?

That certainly seems to be how the main character interprets it, since on the last page he refers to the reds "ringing in a female impersonator"

I don't for one second claim this story is particularly good, just that it's interesting as something that got published in the 50's. I didn't edit the pages at all, they're right out of the comic as printed.
