Only one restriction:

No copywritten material or images of famous people--real or fictional if owned by someone (i.e. Superman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, etc. I think Aladdin might be okay if not a copy of Disney images.) Otherwise, I think linking it is alright as well.

I can delete? but this is not a Disney copyrighted image, it's by a deiantart user named mainasha. In any case, fanart is quit legal and separate from copyrighted works, but of course it's best to avoid any possible conflict of interest >_<' I forgot

Don't worry. It's different enough to be prosecuted by the evil Disney Corporation...

As much as they would want to.. they cannot copyright the description of a character.

This is an actual commercial design.
Everyone who doesn't live under a rock knows who he is but it's still legal to distribute and even make money with such a design.

Not worried so much about Disney. I think Femur would prefer not to have CCBill weigh in! :)

Point well taken Commotion, however on a legal standpoint the similarity are so vast that I don't there is a problem. And Disney can't hold the patten to the clothing its just too universal.

Break Uncle Walt's head out of the freezer. Sew it onto Martha Stewart's body and see if it talks. ROFLMAO!

tgfa.org has a real Disney comic where the genie swaps Aladdin with Jasmine. tgfa.org blocks direct links, so I cannot post a link, but it's under "Comic Books" -> "Other 'Heroines'" on the first page therein.

"Aladdin and Jasmine"
Disney's Aladdin #8

A kids' comic in which the Genie switches Aladdin and Jasmine's bodies to settle the old "boys versus girls" argument.

Indeed there is. But these are Femur's rules. CCBill gets antsy when it appears this site is charging for some content, but are using copywrited material without compensation to the copyright holders--or some such nonsense from CCBill. In any case, Femur would like to keep all hint of trouble with CCBill off of this site, and if one would like to post any such questionable material, they are free to do so on TGCaps; this is part of the reason the site was split into two. Femur may still wish to move this thread to TGCaps when he returns.

Commontion; that is a safe way to go the last thing we want to do is to give this sort of problem to Femur when he get back.

The other way is not to post the image. Instead describe it and link to it on the original site, then TGComics isn't hosting the image (and it saves on bandwidth for the site too)

I've moved this here to TGCaps, which is the Forum that should be used for post of this kind.
