This is... something. Not sure what might have actually been going on in this story but whatever it was, it clearly belongs in this section!

I guess it's about a girl pretending to be a boy pretending to be a girl? But the guy in the overalls clearly wants to look like a girl himself, regardless!

(I think this series was just plain weird on all sorts of levels. Check out darn near any cover in the series!)

Why not indeed! Thanks for sharing that find!

Lots of interesting odd little details in there - $7,000 for boarding school tuition in 1948? That'd be pretty pricey TODAY! And $61,700 in today's money. I don't think even Harvard costs that much....
