Looks like I didn't screw up too much posting that first modified image, so here's another. After posting my two recaptioned comics stories here at TGC, femur sent me the pages of another story he thought might be suitable for modification. They were, and I dult modified the first page - the one with all the set up on it, then never got round to doing the rest. Story of my life, really. It's amazing to me that I ever actually managed to complete three dozen stories and post them at FM (of course, there's almost another dozen sat around unfinished on my hard drive). Anyway, here's the first page of that story. Consider this a taster/teaser....

Looks like a great setup! And gorgeous Buscema/Romita art! I don't recall, did they work together as a penciller/inker team on superhero books much (or ever?)

This is the only penciller/inker work by them I've personally seen so, no, I don't think they worked as such a team on superhero stuff.

Interesting!

There seems to be quite a bit of surprisingly interesting stuff in Marvel's romance and humor comics, even for people who are primarily superhero fans. For instance, I never realized that Stan Lee, in addition to writing so much else, wrote most of the Millie the Model humor stories!

Among the ones I've picked up recently, there's even one where Cookie and Dana... er, Millie and Chili, that is... ;) meet Stan Lee and artist "Stan G" in person!

jeez. i completely forgot i sent you that comic, BobH. It is one of my favorites in terms of gorgeous art.

I'm pretty sure Buscema/Romita collaborated on romance comics more than once, though I'd have to check my collection to see (and it's buried somewhere so that won't happen anytime soon!).

Maybe if you get enough praise on the forum, you'll feel compelled to finish it ;). Anyway, it's a nice start. Well done!
