#226 - I remember my first high school dance. I tried to pin my dates corsage on and stuck the pin through her dress. I only realized the pin had gone in over an inch when her mother hurriedly took over and said, "Here let me do that for you." and I watched her pull the pin out. I wondered at the time why my date didn't yelp or something. It was only much later that I realized she must have been wearing falsies.
#227 - If you REALLY want to petticoat
punish a boy, don't make him look like a real girl. The shoe in the old woman's lap, gave me the Cinderella idea, and the title came from the fact that I had just finished watching the movie, "The reincarnation of Peter Proud"
#228 - This hero(ine)'s name is, of course, a play on Sky King, and if you remember him, you're probably as old as I am. Although this one was not done from the same original comic series as "Plane Jane", I'm guessing from the her being tied to an old plane that the artist may have been the same.
#229 - The blonde's expression in the right hand pannel inspired me; it seemed one of regret. Also, it was fun to play with the ads on the bottom. I believe the Plymouth is a 1958 and '58 was the first year the T-Bird had dual headlights and a back seat.
#230 - One of my favorite themes: The man loves his new womanhood and the evil woman gets her just desserts. If you're wondering, Gladys in Chad's body is relaxing on an island in the Caribbean listening to Jimmy Buffett sing "Why don't we get drunk and Screw?" and sharing Margurittas with three well endowed island girls.
