Brings back fond memories of reading Darla Drag comics behind the imaginary barn when I was just a laddette.

Loved this one !! Darla Drag should meet Dori, the Avis Gurls Club spokesgurl :-) I really like the way you combine things to make your covers. I used this original, too, Vaingirls #18

Jezzi wasn't the first to use Romantic Secrets (Charlton, 1955) #18, Femur also used it for one of the FemCorps comic book covers. The Grand Comics Database doesn't provide any info on that particular issue, but it looks like Joe Sinott was doing most of the drawing for that comic book series.

Romantic Secrets, Charlton #18 femur's FemCorps #8

I thought I remembered one more use of that cover, but I couldn't find anything in my archives.

What hath Charlton wrought? I love this cover because the girl is so dragalicious.

The dress also looks like it could be a bridesmaid's worst nightmare. I'm surprised that nobody has used that angle for a TG storyline. For example:

"My sister may have blackmailed me into being a bridesmaid for her wedding, but at least my best friend is sticking by me."

"It's the least I could do in return for you not telling her that I was the one who set up the spycam in her bedroom."

I LIKE the dress! (I think the flowers are simply a corsage and not part of the dress.) And the gloves and the shoes. The only thing I think is DQ is too much blush. ... But, then, I'm a showgirl :-)
