The matching of the 'types' was the work of the artist, Zoë Mozert. The only thing I did was change "American Girl" to "T-Girl" [doing a cut-and-paste of the 'T' in "Types", plus copying an n-dash], and then tightening up the text and centering it.
Unfortunately, the source I used for the covers only had these two examples. The article on
The American Weekly in the Wikipedia suggests that there are probably issues of the publication that were never collected because it was a Sunday newspaper supplement that was printed on cheap newsprint.
I was tempted to try to create my own versions of the five missing types, but first I'd have to guess what they were. Then I'd have to find appropriate Zoë Mozert artwork, most of which was pinup art done for calendars (at least what's available on the internet), and not the more modest images used for The American Weekly. To use those cheesecake drawings, I'd have to have types like: coquette, hussy, exhibitionist, etc. ;-)
I still may try to create versions of the other five 'types', but for now it's at the bottom of my to-do list.
