These were all made from "Candy" comics covers. She was billed as "America's favorite teenage girl" and looks like she maybe anywhere from high school class of 1946 to 1956.

Possibly your best yet, Jezzi. The pictures, the captions and the humour are excellent! "Keeping Secrets From Sis" made me giggle out loud. I was looking at the "Candy" series the other night, and decided the covers weren't quite me, but you put them to good use.

Another fine batch, Jezzi. I especially enjoyed "Keeping secrets" and "Hi Ya, Babs". I agree that many of the Candy comic book covers have possibilities for recaps and other modifications.

re: "What Women Do Best": That cover is another Comics déjà vu. That gag seems to come in two variations. The first is the hiking one that the Candy cover used, and the other version has the boyfriend laden down with beach supplies. Here's Sabrina, The Teen-Age Witch (Archie, 1971) #68 and Archie's Double Digest Magazine (Archie, 1984) #42 as examples of the second version:

Sabrina the Teen-Age Witch #68 Archie's Double Digest #42

A suggestion: You might try AndiJF's trick for perking up faded comic book covers. Her example used the free GIMP program, but there is a similar feature in Print Shop Pro (called Histogram Adjustment). PSP also has a Fade Correction. PSP's Fade Correction can often be too strong, so I often use the Histogram Adjustment first and then do a Fade Correction of somewhere between 50% and 75%.
