831 - Bad gurl, bad gurl, whatcha gonna do ...

Original: Ms. Tree comics, #43

This one is dedicated to Randalynn, who absolutely hates forced femme, and was inspired by her "Stark" stories.
You can find her work at B.C.

832 - A necessary relationship

Original: Wedding Bells comics, #11

It was the positioning of the characters and their expressions and body language that inspired this one.

833 - ME? You gotta be kidding!

Original: The American Girl magazine, September, 1927 (I gather this magazine is the USA Girl Scouts equivalent to the Boy Scouts' Boys Life.)

Many of my dear sister Janet Stickney's TG fiction hero(ine)s become gurls through situations where they, as a boys, say something like, "O.K., if you can make me look like a passable girl, I'll do it - be a bridesmaid, go to the prom as Cousin Sid's date, be in the girl's choral group because they are one short, etc. - but you'll never in a million years be able to do that to macho me!" And of course, they do ... and "she" does. So this one is dedicated to you, sis!

834 - Feathering the nest!

Original: The American Girl magazine, September, 1945 (I gather this magazine is the USA Girl Scouts equivalent to the Boy Scouts' Boys Life.)

I admit that the TG connection here is strictly secondary, but I couldn't resist. With this original, could you?

835 - Sweet and sentimental - really!

Original: The American Girl magazine, February, 1933 (I gather this magazine is the USA Girl Scouts equivalent to the Boy Scouts' Boys Life.)

If Randalynn ever visits my covers and gets past her cover (#831) to this one, she will probably scoff at my "Sweet and sentimental" summary for this cover, as, I admit, so would I, if I hadn't created it. She and I would probably view the mother as sinister and the "daughter's" reaction as Stockholm syndrome. In reality, in response to and for gteri, who wrote in the forum that she like Vaingirls specific covers, I created this one, and Really, Mom's not evil and "daughter is sincere. Well, there were those drugs, and the hypnotist, and the disbarred surgeon ...

While Vaingirls will occasionally do forced femme or cooperate with it being done, each case is investigated by VG's private investigator, Barbara Dahal, and reviewed by Joyce Hall, VG founder and CEO, her brother G.A./Georgianne, VG's lawyer, and Dr. Joan Adkins, VG's consulting psychologist and Sexual reassignment surgeon. Then each is run by the other three Vaingirls. Only if all six agree that what is proposed is indeed in the best interests of the to-be- feminized male is he taken on as a client.

836 - Party on, dude ... er, dudette!

Original: "Hot Dam", Gold medal book #964

The body language of the young lady, the bottle, and the mountains in the background all made me think of Washington Irving's Rip Van Winkle. Here's the URL to find a pic of what Rip supposedly looked like. Rita comes out the big winner, I think.

837 - Shave and a haircut(do), two bits!

Original: Pictorial Romances comics, #8

This was inspired by all the "Get your business rival out of the way by feminizing him" stories.

838 - Woman (sort of) on a pedestal

Original: Strangers in Paradise comics, #21

Anything can be art! when my friend Bill and I were in collage (With Fred, Barney, Betty, and Wilma) we walked through a major art exhibit on campus. We spied one empty pedestal. We went back to Bill's place and, in half an hour, created "Emotional Crisp" out of melted plastic, cigarette butts, paper clips and any other small junk we found lying around. We then smuggled it into the exhibit and placed it on the empty pedestal, labeling it as by Anonymous. It remained there for the whole week of the exhibit and won a third place award.

839 - Sometimes boys REALLY will be boys!

Original: Little Angel comics, #6

I think Randalynn will like this one, too.

840 - Sinister sisters

Original: A pic from one of Maritess Concepcion's Hair and Accessories sites. Thanks, Maritess.

I use photos for covers very sparingly, but right now I'm in rehearsal for "Cinderella" and I couldn't resist this pic.

I missed some of these before. Great work as usual, Jezzi.
