791 - Yes, things CAN get worse!

Original: Falling in Love comics, #13

This might be a fun story to write.

792 - Going south

Original: "Backwoods Girl", Venus Books #168

Inspired, of course, by the origin of our favorite Japanese boy/gurl ... with a nod to Tennessee Williams

793 - The worst punishment?

Original: SHOCK SuspenStories comics, #6

This one was inspired by the TG stories involving the war between the Brotherhood and the Sisterhood. I got to thinking, what would be the worst punishment a misogynist group like the Brotherhood could visit on a wayward member?

794 - Ladylike lessons

Original: Fashion plate from Le Moniteur De La Mode magazine, 1890's

Since the lady here is clearly annoyed enough with the six adult males in question to turn them into little girls, she is likely to require that they learn to be EXTREMELY proper young ladies in order to pass her exams. If so, the question is if they do what's needed to pass, will they want their manhood back?

I love these 19th century fashion plates - so many TG possibilities!

795 - B(G)F ... F?

Original: Betty and Veronica Digest comics, #126

Actually, without the TG element, I think this is pretty realistic. If Velma is a former extreme tomboy newly converted to gorgeous girlie girl, she will probably be unsure of her new look for awhile and having a less attractive sidekick would be a reinforcement of her new self image every time she saw them together in a mirror or store window. Of course the sidekick couldn't look too unattractive; Velma couldn't be seen with an obviously unpopular frump or the unpopularity might stick to her.

796 - Past tense

Original: My Own Romance comics, #7

After I had finished this, I thought about going back and trying to put little ice crystals in the air around the two, because, obviously, the temperature in their immediate vicinity has just dropped 40 degrees. If you, dear male reader, are or have been married or in a serious relationship with a woman, you know I'm right - only THAT woman, that fe or she male, can do that - make you feel like a slimeball and a guilty little boy who is a tremendous disappointment to her. I predict the gentleman will be groveling as soon as he's inside the door and that there is jewelry - the expensive kind - in her future. (To be honest, I have seen a man, gay and "the wife" in the relationship, produce the same effect on his "husband" without looking at all girlie.)

797 - Cutting remarks

Original: Romantic Hearts comics, #4

Picture for yourself what SHE will look like when his surgeon wife is done with HIM. He/she'll be singing "Welcome to My Nightmare" in falsetto! Maybe she'll name her Alice.

798 - Unconventional!

Original: Action Life magazine, August, 1964

While I know that the term "Japs" is politically incorrect today. This cover was done as if it were immediately post World War II vintage, and the term would be accurate for that time period. I do not mean to insult anyone.

There really was a 2nd battalion U.S. Marine Raiders. After being dropped by submarine they raided Japanese held Makin Island, August 17-18, 1942. Nine men were accidentally left behind. In real life, those nine were later beheaded by the enemy; I just gave them a worse (?) fate.

799 - Goldfemmer

Original: Dime Mystery Magazine, September, 1939

The name is Bond. James ... well, er, Jane ... Bond.

Both titles. I couldn't resist. Sorry ... NOT! :-)

800 - Wannabees

Original: Katy Keene Pin-up Parade comics, #2

Well, once again I couldn't resist putting my pic on the hundredth issue. What do you expect? I named my salon Vaingirls and I belong to the Vanity Club sorority. Vanity, thy name is woman ... well, T-gurl. :-)
