Spells R Us

I'm not sure why, but somehow this cover just shouted Spells R Us to me. I tried several different fonts and logos for the title, but they all looked too modern, flashy and (to be honest) too expensive for the rather ordinary artwork. I'm not entirely happy with this, but I'm sick of looking at it, so...

Nicely done! I don't recognize this one - what comic series is the original from?

Actually, very well done in all respects. The TG is more implied by context than anything else, since "Grace" could be a girl in the bodysuit.

Possible dialogue change to "Well, Dan, there's money to be made..."?

BobH: The original cover was from "Confessions Of The Lovelorn"; specifically issue eighty-eight.

sehlat: There is always a fine line between whacking the reader over the head, and being subtle to the point where only the fact that the cover is posted on a TG-related forum reveals that it has any T-content at all. I tried to get the point over with the phrase "but it looks like you're stuck as a girl", but I think your suggestion would be an improvement. Something like this?

You're probably right about the "subtlety" point. I've been told by One Who Should Know that I have the subtlety of a meat axe. But I do think the revision is clearer for the uninitiated.
