I've wanted to do something with this cover for some time, because the sad expression on the "maid's" face and the blonde's smirk are so perfect. I'm not happy with the speech bubbles, but I've fiddled with it enough for tonight.

A witty comic, if I may say so. And very well done. Paul

Have you ever had that uneasy feeling that your secretary might be able to do your job better than you? I know I did when I started in my first job as a newly-minted graduate. I couldn't resist.

Another hostile take-over, until fate takes a hand.

Not really a hostile take-over. Well, maybe a bit... Sort of... Anyway, a totally silly recap.

I was unsatisfied with the speech-bubbles on the first version of this cover I posted. I have re-done them using my new Comic Life "green screen" technique, and I think the effect is much better. Comments?

I agree, this version does look a lot better - better font, too.

I'm embarrassed to admit that it was the longest time before I realised that comics don't generally use mixed case letters...

I also think the new version looks better.
To be honst, I never noticed the mixed case until you pointed it out :-)

OK... Two more Altered Fates covers with the speech-bubbles fixed. In the case of the Betsy Crane cover, I think I've come up with some better dialogue (certainly it's less verbose...).

Thank you for the comments Eric. I sometimes think that some of my covers are a bit too allusive, and perhaps require the reader to be rather familiar with the TG story universe.

The revised Betsy Crane cover is a case in point. I was attracted to the cover by the expression on the nurse's face, but it really requires previous knowledge of the Altered Fates universe to work out what is going on, and why Nurse Betsy is so desperate to rescue Dr. Baker.
