I guess I'm forced to tell you where these came from.
441 - Off Beat Detective Stories
442 - Candy comics
443 - Romantic Love comics
444 - Sailor Moon comics
445 - My Own Romance comics

I didn't realize till I finished all five of these and viewed them together that they all involve forced femme. Where does that come from in me? I don't know; on a conscious level. I am totally against forced femme. Oh, well.

#441 - Women have known for a long time that a high heeled shoe, especially a stiletto, makes a good weapon and can be used in a variety of ways on, as in this cover, or off, as in VG #327. I also have written a story where heels are used as a weapon, but to give life rather than take it: "Holly Daze and the Deadline Stakeout"; you can read it at

#442 - I was actually in my high school's Senior Mens' Fashion Show. Our head cheerleader had the same last name as me and so I was dressed by my senior girl as a cheerleader. Unfortunately it was caricature drag - combat boots, basketball boobs, yarn hair, etc. and I looked HORRIBLE. I blame the SMFS for me not dressing again till my 50's.
#443 - Stone walls do not a prison make, nor iron bars a cage.
#444 - I am a Sailor Moon fan. As Miss Jezzi Belle in my one woman show, one of the characters I made up was Sailor Belle, loosely based on Sailor Moon. There is a web comic that blends Sailor Moon and Ranma 1/2, another favorite of mine, called Sailor Ranko; you can find it at

#445 - Forced Femme, but maybe the unnamed trickster has done Bob a favor?

I really enjoyed that Holly Daze story - are there more in this series?

I'll check out that Holly Daze link. Sounds like there's some good stuff there. :)

Nice work again. :)

For some reason Japanese like to dress their kids up in German military uniforms or British school uniforms - weird :).
Why can't they wear Kimonos and Hakamas - it would look cool.

The whole thing with Japanese school uniforms started back around 1921 when a school modeled their uniforms on British Naval uniforms. It caught on mostly becuase of the military flavor and continues today although more and more Japanese schools are going to a more western school uniform of blazer/blouse and skirts for girls, slacks for boys.

The fetish value of the sailor fuku remains very high however as evidenced by all the anime, magna and other appearances of an endless number of variants to the orginal style. It was so wild that until the authorities cracked down on it, there was a sort of black market for second hand school uniforms for a time. They are still not cheap to come by save as costume style imitations, the real thing can be very pricey even now.
