Oh yeah, this is what I'm talking about. I LOVE these old pulp fiction magazines.

Great job.

LOL! WHO could possibly guess from the covers that these stories were aimed at teen age boys!

Doc Savage and The Shadow sure, the ones shown here however, the Spicy line and the late era detective pulps where aimed at adult men.

In fact Spicy Mystery, Adventure & Western had to be kept behind the counter and out of view of the general public.

It worked for the recent return of Loki.

I know there is an actual story line where Thor gets turned into a girl by Odin to teach him humility - I hope they kept her as a girl - never read it but found some pages on a TG comic archive somewhere.

The new Loki being a girl is a recent trend in comics right now of bringing back old characters that were formerly men as women in there updated incarnations.

Oh really? I heard about this - apparently he is being punished - surely being a woman isn't a punishment though? I would consider it a reward, I suspect many others here would agree.

In a recent one they have Loki and Balder talking on a balcony saying she did it herself as a sign that he had changed his ways and was on their side and wanted and to show a less harsh more positive self, cut to panel of tourist looking in on Asgard (it having landed in America) through a telescope at this conversation, Balder walks away as Loki sneers behind his back, then in the next panel Loki looks at the observer knowing they are watching shooting them an evil smile.

The story then later reviles Loki is actually in Sif's (thors beloved ) body .
However sadly its teh usal dull nonsense and for reason unknown Thor ignores the resemblance (in the prior story arc he aqquired higher learning after mastering the runes). Loki's just a little tired and boring now as a chacrter
