I'm back, and recovering well from my hip surgery, no longer an old hippy, but a brand new one :-)

#226 is the result of combining a "Stories of Brides in Love" cover (top) and a "Brenda Star" cover (bottom). I had found the BinL cover quite a while ago and knew immediately that I wanted to use it in conjunction with another cover that would show the finished procuct, so to speak. Over time, I found several possibilities, but when I saw the BS issue, I knew I had my winner. I'm including both originals.
#227 - my tribute to the "male cop goes undercover as a woman" stories, with a humerous (well, I think so!) twist.
#228 - I'd had this cover for quite a while but could never seem to come up with just the right idea for it. Yesterday, I did.
#229 - I actually did this right after issue # 313, but didn't want to put two sibling rivalry issues in the same batch.
#330 - I'm anxious to see comments on this one - see if there are others as old as me out there.

Glad to see you back, Jezzi. Hope the new hip is working well. We expect to see you breakdancing before too long ;-)

Thank you both for your kind wishes. Vinny, if I was to dance, that's exactly the kind it would be - my left hip this time :-)

Well, until you get that hip done, your covers and imagination are more than enough for us :)

Welcome back, Jezzi.

Loved the cop issue, wonder how things are at the station two weeks later.
'Mona' is either starting to get use to her condition, or Mike is about ready to kill Jenkins. :)

Glad to see you back, Jezzi.

I really like the "Body AND soul" cover; combining pictures like that opens up a lot more possibilities!

Great to hear you're recovering well, Jezzi. Great covers, but I especially like Calendar Girl Cop (very dynamic), and Dead To The World (good story to imagine behind that one).

Nobody seems to have picked up on " ... Paul died on Abbey Road." in #330. In the late '60's a world wide rumor circulated that Paul McCartney of the Beatles had died in 1966 and been replaced by an imposter. One of the biggest clues supposedly left by the three original Beatles was the Abbey Road album cover with Paul barefoot and out of step with the others.
