#291 - Awhile back, my wife, who is not a big fan of this part of me, asked me why I couldn't just go to my friend Rori's salon, get madeover, hang around there awhile, change back, and come home. I was horrified and told her that being all dressed up and nowhere to go would be worse than not dressing, that it would make this side of me something shameful that should be hidden away, not the wonderful blessing it was to me. That conversation was the genesis for this cover.
#292 - This one was inspired by a very short story, "Brokeback Christmas" by my dear sister Gwen Lavyril.
#293 - This one was inspired by my friend Fleurie's novel, "The Deception of Choice" (at Big Closet and FM)
#294 - I try to make the text and anything else I add complement the 19th century illustration for these "historical" covers.
#295 - Since this isuue has the hero(ine) hitting bottom, I'll probably do a more upbeat sequel soon.
