#266 started as a painting, not a comic cover, but it reminded me of a story that was titled, I think, "Getting Ready for My Wedding."
#267 was inspired by a story, "Passing the GAT" about boys being forced to take a girlishness test and if the passed/failed (depending on POV) they were turned into sissies or gurls.
#268 - I was watching a Cubs game while perusing covers.
#269 - inspired by Snow White, of course - and the housewives in '50's sitcoms
#270 - I don't usually do superheroes (unless I invent them, like Transavenger) but I couldn't resist this one. Thanks, Billy Idol.

I love the pic on 266, but I'm confused about the storyline. Is the new girl "Lissa"? Why does she remember it is "Lissa's Day"?

Issue 268 is a classic petticoat-punishment idea. I suspect that Louise has as much chance of escaping her fate as the Cubs have of winning the World Series... :)

267 and 269 are certainly creative. I'm sure I wouldn't have come up with those ideas. I'd probably have gone with some sort of tired "becoming girls to avoid being shipped to the front" idea for 267.

And of course Jimmy Olsen is just jealous that Perry got in first.

I should have used "Melissa" as in Michael/Melissa, or put an apostrophe in front of the L as in 'Lissa. My idea was that Gwen finds out about "Melissa" and there's then a conspiracy to drug and dress him as "Lissa, the bride - the question I would hope the comic reader would want answered enough to buy the comic would be: If not Gwen, who is 'Lissa supposed to be marrying, and will "she" actually go through with it?

To Andi: Hey, any team can have a bad century! :-) Actually, they could do it this year. (I AM a Cubs fan!)
