On Blockade Boy's Blog, a fun comics blog largely about "superhero fashion," BB occasionally does something even rarer than our "usual" TG Comics fare - turning female characters into males!

As he describes it:
"In the gender reversal challenge, I take a very ladylike superheroine costume and redesign it for the male figure, keeping as many of the original elements as possible without making the guy version look like he's in drag."

It's pretty funny, but also done "seriously" - with costumes that wouldn't look utterly ridiculous for a "real" character. ("Looker" from Batman and the Outsiders is a Herculean challenge, though!)

very cool, but i wish they kept a couple more subtle femme elements to them.

another cool site for Tg contests is worth1000. they have all kinds of photoshop contests including the occasional TG one. They tend to alternate their MtF and FtM ones when they do have them. I love the pics in their FtM contests, something is cute about the making a girl looklike a guy, but the eyes and other facial features look a bit girly. The worth1000 TG contests are here. http://www.worth1000.com/galleries.asp?rel=Gender+ Bending&display=photoshop&id=13482

Certainly an interesting and different way of approaching things.
