Spells and Potions 79

Hank was surprised when his girlfriend Gwen called to invite him out to the beach house. Although he knew where it was and how to get there, Hank had never been there before. Not only was it a private beach, but Gwen's husband more often than not went to the beach house with her.

"Won't your husband be there?" he asked nervously.

"Of course he will. You know how he is! He never lets me come here alone," she replied. "He thinks I'll be meeting some other guy if he let that happen. You know how jealous Edward can be at times."

Her husband's jealousy was something that bothered Hank. "Are you sure it's a good idea for me to come if Edward will be there too?" Even though Edward was several years older than Hank and many more years older than Gwen, he was also a helluva lot bigger than Hank. Even worse than that, the huge man had a very short fuse. Hank, thinking himself a lover not a fighter, never wanted any trouble with that man. He was convinced more than shit would hit the fan if Edward ever found out about him sleeping with his pretty blonde wife.

"You don't have to worry about Edward, sweetheart. He won't give us any trouble this weekend." Hank could have sworn Gwen giggled before adding, "Edward has changed so much since you last saw him."

Changed? Hank wondered what she meant. Curious about what she'd said, Hank decided to go. "I'll be there within the hour." However, he still doubted going there was a good idea. It might be better if he went to see Sarah as he'd been thinking about doing. At the same time, it had been far too long since he'd last held Gwen in his arms.

Hank was given another surprise - one bigger than the first - shortly after he'd hesitantly knocked on the front door of the beach house. He'd been expecting the worst. But even in the wildest spurt of his imagination, he would have never dreamed the door being answered by a hot, sexy, well-developed, brunette vision of loveliness.

"Hi there, handsome," said the brunette, smiling seductively at him once the door opened. "I'll bet you're Hank. I'm Gwen's roommate, Melissa Danvers. She told me you'd be coming by today, but she never said anything about you being such a handsome hunk." Her smile widened swiftly. "Do you want to fuck me, Hank? I'm feeling really horny, you know!" Without waiting for Hank's response, Melissa wrapped her arms around him and fervently kissed him.

Although Melissa's action had caught Hank by surprise, he wasn't about to complain. He was no fool! It wasn't every day some gorgeous, hot, sexy babe he'd just met greeted him so passionately. Gwen seldom greeted him like that anymore. Hank knew he wouldn't mind getting to know this girl better.

"That's enough teasing Hank, Melissa." Gwen giggled oddly as Melissa gently pushed Hank away.

"If you say so, Gwen," replied the girl, sounding disappointed. "I know hunky Hank here is your boyfriend, but I wish you'd quit spoiling my fun all the time." Melissa grinned impishly at Hank. "See you a bit later, stud muffin. Don't be a stranger." When she turned and left the room, Hank couldn't keep from watching her swaying ass like a hungry hawk.

Gwen clearly noticed his gaping. "You shouldn't stare at my husband like that, lover boy."

"What!" exclaimed Hank, turning swiftly toward Gwen. "What did you just say?"

"I said you shouldn't stare at my husband that way," repeated Gwen. "I think that's kind of rude. Don't you?" An impish grin spread quickly across her face. "I told you Edward had changed since you'd last seen him. It's very easy for me to see that you like how he's changed."

Hank looked at her in disbelief. "That is not Edward," he replied. He was convinced Gwen must be pulling his leg for reasons of her own.

"Of course she is Edward. I should know who she is... or maybe that should really be who she was," replied Gwen. "But I suppose I can see where you might have some trouble believing she's my husband. I mean Edward would have never kissed you before. In fact, I can't remember the last time Edward kissed me so passionately."

At that moment, Hank decided Gwen must be playing one of her little mind games. This was the oddest one yet. But then knowing where they'd eventually wind up once her game ended, Hank had no problems with playing along. In any event, he was curious what kind of strange tale she'd concocted. He also wanted to learn more about pretty Melissa. "Are you going to tell me how you know that girl is Edward?"

"If you'd like. It's very simple, silly." Gwen flashed him a mischievous smile. "I know she was my husband because I was the one that changed Edward into Melissa."

"You changed Edward into Melissa?" Finding the start of her tale strange, but interesting, Hank smiled. "Just how did you manage something like that?"

"You won't believe how easy it was," replied Gwen. "I gave him a potion. I mixed it up myself from a recipe my old granny sent me last week."

"I see." Any kind of potion from her old granny meshed perfectly with this story. He should have guessed the old woman would play a role in Gwen's tale. Hank had met Gwen's old granny once. That was once more than enough for him. Simply calling that old woman strange would have been a gross understatement of the facts. "What was this potion you gave Edward supposed to do?"

"Not all that much really. In the note Granny sent with the recipe, she said whoever drank the potion would believe whatever I told him and do anything I wanted him to do for a whole week."

"That's interesting, but I don't see how any of it explains your husband being Melissa."

"That's probably because it doesn't. The potion does something else," said Gwen. "Within the first ten minutes or so after taking the potion, if the person is told he's someone else, he changes into that someone else."

Her tale kept getting stranger, as well as more and more interesting. Hank thought it was too bad a potion like that didn't really exist. He knew a number of people he wouldn't mind changing into hot, sexy babes like Melissa. "I can't imagine Edward willingly taking any potion, let alone one that came from your granny."

"You're right; he never would have. Of course, I wasn't about to ask him either. That would have been just plain silly. He would have said 'no'," replied Gwen. "When we got here the night before last, Edward, as usual, wanted me to make him a drink. As I was mixing one for him, I slipped some of the potion into it. It must have been tasteless because he never even noticed," she explained. "Once it had taken effect, I told him he was a girl named Melissa Danvers. Then I told him he was my totally hot and incredibly sexy roommate for the summer. Since I didn't want her to be as old as Edward, I told him Melissa was a year and a half younger than me. I guess his mind filled in the rest. All I had to do was sit back and watch stuffy old Edward turn into sexy young Melissa. I would have called you yesterday, but and I had to go shopping for clothes. The poor girl simply had nothing whatsoever to wear. We had so much fun shopping."

"You still should have called me," replied Hank. "Who would have ever guessed Edward had such an overdeveloped imagination?" Neither had Hank ever noticed Gwen being quite so imaginative before.

"I would have never believed it," replied Gwen. "It made me wonder. Do you think Edward might have been seeing someone like her behind my back?"

"I doubt it. He'd never cheat on you." Hank added to himself that hot sexy girls like Melissa weren't generally attracted to jealous old farts like Edward. "Does Melissa know she was Edward?"

"I suppose so, but I don't really know," replied Gwen. "Once her body finished changing, I told her she could only answer to the name Melissa, she would only tell people her name was Melissa, and that she would react to everything as if she'd always been Melissa."

"Sensible precautions."

"I thought so too," replied Gwen. "What would people think of me if my new hot sexy looking roomie kept walking around like some hardnose male truckdriver with a burr up her ass and telling everybody she was a man named Edward... or maybe even Eddie."

"I couldn't agree with you more, although no one would believe she was ever a man," replied Hank. He also thought it was a convenient way of letting him know asking the girl questions would give him no answers. "Can you change Melissa back into Edward?"

"Of course I can. Granny also sent me the recipe for the anti-potion, but I haven't mixed any of it up yet."

"When are you going to change her back?"

"I haven't decided yet." A devilish grin began spreading slowly across her face. "I've been thinking about not giving Melissa the anti-potion. Although I'd no longer be able to tell her what to do or what to believe once the week was over, she'd still believe everything I'd told her was true. I like having Melissa around. I wouldn't mind having her around forever. Even you must admit Melissa is a lot more fun to have around than Edward has been in years."

Remembering how passionately Melissa had kissed him earlier, Hank couldn't help but smile. "I can't disagree with you on that." Once again he thought about how nice it would be if a such potion truly existed. On the other hand, he wondered how Gwen thought she could get away with what she was thinking. "Wouldn't people miss Edward?"

"At first they would," replied Gwen. "But after a while, people would start forgetting about Edward. You know how people are. And when the last person that knew her as Edward finally forgot him, then Melissa will forget having ever been him as well."

After considering what she'd said, Hank changed his mind. That kind of potion was dangerous. He was glad no potion like that really existed. He also hoped Gwen's strange tale was finally at an end. "What do you want to do now?" he asked her, even though he had a good idea.

"Let's go sit on the beach for a while," she replied to Hank's surprise. "I'd like to soak up some rays first. You can take a dip, if you'd like. After that, I'm sure we'll think of something else we'd like to do."

Hank smiled. "Okay. That's fine with me." He decided their being at the beach house was causing of the break in her normal routine. Clearly, her game was still on. Gwen must be thinking they had plenty of time now that she's changed Edward into Melissa. Hank thought that might pose some problems if the real Edward decided to check up on his wife.

After they'd changed clothes, Hank, carrying a small cooler, walked out to the umbrella set up on the beach with Gwen. Once there, he decided to take a quick swim. As Gwen had been the one who suggested it, she didn't voice any complaints when he pulled his sweatshirt off over his head, then headed down toward the water. Of course, there were only the two of them... and Melissa... on the private beach.

Although Hank couldn't explain it, Melissa seemed to be everywhere he looked.

At the same time, she never seemed to approach near enough for him to speak to her. Was she avoiding him? It was all so maddening. And yet, Hank was convinced she knew he was watching her. Several times when he'd seen her, she'd winked back at him, then impishly smiled.

Melissa was just so hot. Hank didn't know what it was, but she was somehow different from all the other girls he knew. Whether or not she was being coy, he found both her and her actions exciting. He couldn't keep his eyes off her. She definitely filled out her white one-piece swim suit nicely.

Hank could only hope Gwen wouldn't be too mad at him... or Melissa for that matter... with all the interest he was showing in her. On the other hand, Melissa wouldn't be there to entice him if not for Gwen. She should have known he'd find the girl intriguing when she'd invited her at the same time he was there. In a way, the situation was Gwen's fault, not his.

As he left the water, Hank saw Melissa looking his way. There was a playful, even mischievous, grin on her face. It wasn't that hard to tell what she was thinking. Not that it bothered Hank, Melissa seemed to have a one-track mind.

On his way back to where Gwen was sitting, Hank wondered if she had seen how Melissa had kept watching him. But more importantly, had she seen how he'd looked back.

His worries abated when, as he approached the beach umbrella, Gwen stood, then walked over to greet him. Slipping her arms around him, Gwen planted a big juicy wet one on his lips. "Did you enjoy your swim?" she asked, as she pulled back.

"It was okay." After pulling his sweatshirt on over his head, Hank sat down under the umbrella. "But I am a little thirsty. Did you remember to pack some water in the cooler?"

"Of course, I did; I know how much you hate soda," replied Gwen. She opened the cooler, took out a bottle of water out, and handed it to Hank. "Here you go, dear."

As Hank took the bottle, he smiled. His smile widened when Gwen sat down beside him. "You know, there's something else I'm thirsting for at the moment." He leaned over and kissed her. As they kissed, Gwen snuggled closer. Abruptly, Hank caught a stray motion out of the corner of his eye. After pulling back from Gwen, Hank wasn't too surprised the motion he'd seen turned out to be Melissa jogging by. "Damn," he muttered. However, he thought it would be better if he said nothing to Gwen about how hot and sexy Melissa looked.

"You shouldn't keep ogling my husband like that. People might talk; you know how people are," said Gwen coolly.

Hank opened the bottle and drank half the water in it. "That sure hits the spot." Quickly, he quickly downed the other half. "I don't see where there's a problem. There's nobody around but the three of us. Who's going to talk?"

"Don't you remember me telling you about the potion granny sent me?" asked Gwen. "I suppose I should have told you earlier I have enough potion left to make you her twin sister."

Hank smiled. Gwen was still playing her game. He wished she'd drop it. The whole thing was starting to get tiresome. "Oh yes, the potion. How could I forget about the potion?" he asked. "I don't why I ever played along with your little fantasy."

"Fantasy?" Gwen's eyes narrowed as she realized what he'd said. "You didn't believe me! You don't think Melissa is Edward."

"Why should I?"

"Because it's the truth."

"So you say," replied Hank. "But I've seen or heard nothing that convinces me Melissa was ever Edward."

"You want proof! I'll give you proof!" Clearly looking for her friend, Gwen looked around. "Melissa! Could you come here for a minute, please!"

Almost immediately, Melissa was standing there. "What can I do for you, Gwen?" she asked.

"I want you to tell Hank who you are."

Surprisingly, Melissa looked somewhat puzzled. But then, she turned toward Hank and smiled. "I'm Melissa Danvers. I'm Gwen's roommate."

Hank thought her response was a little strange.

"That's not what I meant, dear. Hank already knows who you are right now," said Gwen. "I want you to tell him who you were when we arrived here at the beach house the other night."

Melissa's eyes grew wider, not from puzzlement, but from fear. "I'm Edward Marlowe, Gwen's husband," she replied, as one of her hands slid absently across one of her breasts. "You've gotta help me, Hank! Please! I don't know how she did it, but Gwen's somehow turned me into a girl."

"I think that's enough, Melissa."

"If you say so, Gwen," bubbled the girl as if nothing was wrong. She then turned toward Hank and smiled. "Do you want to fuck me now, stud muffin?"

"I'll think about it, Melissa," replied Hank. He looked over at Gwen, slowly shaking his head. "Aside from letting me know Melissa's one helluva actress, that proves nothing."

Gwen glared at Hank. "You still don't believe me." When Hank nodded his head in agreement, she added. "Okay! I'll give you some proof you'll just have to believe." She turned toward Melissa. "Tell Hank who we're expecting, dear."

"We're expecting my sister Clarissa," replied Melissa. "She's my identical twin, you know. Of course, she's the baby of the family. Clarissa was born three minutes after I was." Melissa suddenly looked worried. "I don't know where she could be. I thought she'd be here long before now."

"Don't worry. I'm sure she'll be here soon," said Gwen. "Why don't you go make sure her room is ready."

"Okay," replied Melissa, as she turned and headed for the house.

Hank watched Melissa depart. He couldn't keep from thinking she had a great looking ass. "What the hell does that prove?" he asked Gwen. "How can Melissa possibly have a twin sister if she's really Edward?"

"You're about to find out, sweetie," replied Gwen. "It wasn't what I'd planned on doing, but I so hate being called a liar." She looked Hank squarely in the eye. "You're a girl. You're Clarissa Danvers, Melissa's identical twin sister."

"What!" exclaimed Hank, suddenly feeling strangely tingly all over.

"Although you're three minutes younger than your sister, you alway try to make up for that by being hotter and sexier than Melissa."

As Gwen watched, Hank's body began changing. He lost inches of height and pounds of weight. His hair grew longer. His body rounded. An obviously healthy pair of breasts began pushing out his sweatshirt. Gwen wasn't surprised with the swiftness of Hank's change. It had happened with Edward just as quickly. Hank could no longer be identified as Hank... or male.

She was now quite obviously Melissa's twin.

They were the same height.

Their hair colors were the same, as were the lengths and cuts.

And each was as equally well-endowed as the other.

Gwen smiled. "Do you know your name, dear?"

"That's a silly question. I'm Clarissa Danvers." She felt a little confused. That wasn't what she'd wanted to reply. "Do you know where my sister Melissa is, Gwen?" She shook her head slowly. That was definitely not what she'd intended on asking.

"Just to be on the safe side, you'll only respond to the name Clarissa. And you'll only be able to tell people you're Clarissa. From now until I tell you otherwise, you'll act and react as if you've always been Clarissa and Melissa has always been your sister."

"How are you feeling now, Clarissa?"

Something seemed different as she looked at Gwen. "So hot... so very sexy," replied Clarissa. What she was thinking wasn't what she wanted to be thinking? "I'm feeling horny as hell too." How she was feeling wasn't how she wanted to be feeling. She just didn't seem to have any say in the matter. And yet, Clarissa could think of nothing wrong with what she was thinking or how she was feeling.

"Clarissa!" exclaimed Melissa, as she returned from the beach house. "Where have you been? I've been so worried about you."

"I just got here," replied Clarissa. "I don't know why you're always worrying about me, Sis?" she said, slowly shaking her head. "I'm a big girl now, you know."

"But you're my baby sister," objected Melissa. "I'm supposed to worry about you. It's what big sisters do."

"You're only three fucking minutes older than me!" snapped Clarissa. "Damnit! I think you're getting worse than Mom in your old age." Abruptly, she started giggling. A moment later, she and Melissa, now giggling as well, were hugging one another.

"Where did you find that sweatshirt you're wearing?" asked Melissa. "It is so NOT you."

"I don't know. I was wearing it when I got here." Clarissa looked a bit puzzled. "I know what you mean. Although it does a good job showing off my boobs, it does nothing for the rest me. I've always enjoyed showing off my hot, sexy bod."

"I got a suit when Gwen I went shopping in my room you'll just love," said Melissa. "It's just like mine, only red." She looked over at Gwen. "We'll be back in a few minutes." Abruptly, something seemed wrong. "Where's Hank?" she asked. "Don't tell me he's left. Was it something I did?"

"Hank?" mumbled Clarissa, somewhat surprised her sister remembered who she'd been. Obviously, Gwen had made some kind of mistake. However, she could think of no way that knowledge was beneficial.

Gwen's eyes instantly locked on Melissa's. "You're mistaken, Melissa. There was never anyone named Hank here. You've never met anyone named Hank here."

"Okay," replied Melissa. "C'mon, Clarissa, let's get you out of that horrid sweatshirt and into something sexy." The girls had taken only a couple steps, when Melissa turned back. "Do you know what would be really nice, Gwen?"

"What's that?"

"You should call that hunky boyfriend of yours you've been telling me about and have him come visit us."

'Boyfriend?' thought Clarissa. 'Are they talking about me?'

"That's a great idea," replied Gwen. "While you're getting your sister into something more sexy and beach appropriate, I'll make some calls."

'Damn,' thought Clarissa. 'Gwen had been seeing someone else behind Melissa's and my backs.' She turned toward Gwen. "Just make sure he's got friends for us. If I'm feeling this horny, I know my big sister is too."

"I know what you mean! I'm feeling hornier than shit," replied Melissa. "If I didn't know better, I'd swear there'd been some studly young hunk here already."

With that the giggling twins turned and headed toward the beach house.

Gwen smiled as she watched them depart. If she hadn't known, she would have never believed they were her husband and one of her boyfriends. Of course, they shared a special bond now that they were twin sisters.

After a little thought on the matter, Gwen decided Hank should stay Clarissa at least the week she could tell her what to do and what she believed. Being Clarissa would teach Hank a valuable lesson she was unlikely to ever forget. On the other hand, Clarissa might be staying longer, if she turned out to be a good girl.

As Gwen headed for the beach house, she decided to call Kevin. She knew Kevin had more than a few friends that would be very interested in being with Melissa and Clarissa.

Of course, that wasn't her only reason. As horny as they were, the twins would be happy with any two bozos taken randomly off the street. Gwen hoped Kevin's sister Sarah wouldn't miss Hank too much while Hank remained sexy Clarissa.
