Stolen Lives, Captured Hearts

It was a beautiful summer's evening as Carrie Kitson approached the house where her best friend Ann Hosford lived. She hoped that this evening's cramming session would help her, but she thought that this was unlikely. Ann had struggled with her studies throughout her school life and trying to get her to a level where she would be able to pass the statuary entry test for the job that she was applying for was expecting a lot!

A gentle smile passed over Carrie's face as she thought of her friend. Whatever she lacked in smarts, she more than made up for in looks. She had always been the most popular girl in school, and also the prettiest, and had always assumed that this would get her by in life. Well she would need more than that this time!

Carrie was just about to knock on the door before letting herself in, when she heard raised voices from inside, and held back a moment.

"Why you arrogant pig. Y..you think you've got all the answers to everything don't you. Well let me tell you mister that if you knew how much effort it took to look like me then ..."

"Well I never will so why don't you just keep your nagging mouth shut, you stupid bimbo. You're just good for one thing, just like most women, and you won't even deliver that! I don't know why Ted puts..."

Carrie groaned. Why did they always have to fight like cat and dog all of the time? She knew that sibling rivalry could be a terrible thing but she had never known two young people that would bicker and be so darn insulting to each other as Ann and Stan. It had always been this way but had reached new depths recently, ever since Ann started dating Ted, Stan's long time best friend. Stan had been most unhappy when he knew they were seeing each other, and Carrie was sure that he was jealous of their relationship, especially when Ted started cancelled their "boys' outings to spend more time with Ann.

Still, she knew where her sympathies lay. Ann's nature was as pretty as her looks which was not at all like her brother, who had more than just a smattering if the misogynist about him. He seemed to regard women as mere objects and couldn't really be bothered with them, considering that they interfered with his pursuit of sporting excellence. In fact the only girl that he had ever really pursued had been Carrie herself. He was always asking her out, and normally she would have leapt at the chance of dating such a handsome young man, but there was no chance of that - not with the way that he carried on!

Now if only he could have been more like his sister. Why, if only Ann had not been another girl then Carrie was sure that she would have fallen in love with her in an instant, if she hadn't already! It could never be though. Ann would never consider such a thing and Carrie didn't either - not really!

Carrie's thoughts were interrupted by the door opening as her hand hovered over the door, just as she was about to knock, and Stan stormed past her, nearly bowling her over in the process. As soon as he saw her though, he stopped and appeared quite flustered.

"Oh - h..hi Carrie. I suppose that you're here to help out the bimbo. I suppose you wouldn't maybe go out for a drink with me instead?" he said, hopefully.

Carrie seemed to grow inches in height as her body became stiff with indignation at his put-down of Ann.

"I don't think so Stan Hosford. After the way that you just treated your sister I'm surprised that you've got the nerve to even.." she started to say, haughtily, but was stopped by Stan's abrupt answer.

"Oh screw you then - you women are all the same. Just one big tease!" he spat out, before storming off again, to wherever he was bound for.

"Really!" she said to herself, before easing open the door and stepping inside.

"Hi there - Ann - it's me!" she called out gently, but only heard the muted sound of sobbing in response.

She entered cautiously and found her friend with her head buried face down on the sofa and crying her eyes out. She walked over to her and put her hand on her shoulder, causing Ann to start. Her face turned around slowly, thinking that it might be her brother returning, and not wanting to give him the satisfaction of seeing her so upset, and then feeling the relief of seeing that it was Carrie there.

"Oh Carrie!" she sobbed, and then let her tears flow into the chest of her friend until she was all cried out.

"I..I'm so sorry. I shouldn't let him get to me that way. It's just..just that..."

Carrie looked at her friends flushed face and tear-ridden eyes. God, she was still so attractive - even like this.

"I know, I know. I heard some of it outside. Why does he do this, and why does he seem to hate women so much?" she asked, as much to herself as to Ann.

"I really don't know. He has everything going for him. Even for a brother I can tell that he'd be quite a catch, what with his rugged good looks and, of course, he seems to have all the smarts in this family. Oh Carrie, what am I going to do. I have that induction test in two days and I just know that I will fail. If only it was Stan taking the test for me - he would breeze it!"

The thought of Stan, dressed up in the regulation uniform of a hospital receptionist and taking the test for Ann made Carrie giggle for a moment, and soon Ann was joining in as they both became hysterical. As their laughter stopped something caught Ann's eye, hanging around Carrie's neck.

"Hey - now that is unusual. Where did you get that from?" Ann said, as she studied the copper coloured medallion, with a small cherub like figure encased in its middle.

"Oh that! It was given to me out of my old aunt's possessions when she passed on. Nobody seemed to want and so here it is!" she said, looking down at it and lifting the chain for a better look.

"There is some sort of story surrounding it as well, according to my mother. It's supposed to contain "magic' powers - whoooooaaaaah" she said, before dissolving into another fit of the giggles.

That started them both laughing, and they shared a fun few moments until Carrie removed it from her neck and put it on the table beside them.

"Still, I suppose that we should get down to your studying if you are going to have any chance of getting that job."

"I suppose, although I don't see why you need to pass some intelligence test, not just to be a receptionist!" Ann pouted.

"I know, but hey!" she said, looking to the necklace and then back to Ann, "why don't you just try this on first and then we can get started. I think with your colouring it would far better on you than it does me."

"Oh okay - just for a moment then" Ann replied, smiling.

She had never been able to resist trying on jewellery, make-up, clothes, or anything else like that, and quickly slipped it over her head before going over to the mirror to admire her reflection.

"Hey - I think you're right. It does look pretty good on me but there's something a little spooky about it. I don't know ..."

Just then the door flew open again, and Stan stormed into the room looking for his car keys that he had left somewhere.

"Toots - have you seen my car k.. hey - I thought you were supposed to be studying" he said, as he saw his sister preening herself in front of the mirror.

"Huh - typical women - always looking at themselves, and just what is that anyway?" he said as he looked at the necklace, causing her to bridle, as he walked towards her.

"Well mister smart - just what do you think you know about girls anyway? Hey - keep your hands off of that!" she yelled, as he grabbed the necklace for a better look.

As Stan looked down on her he felt a small tingle, like a gentle electric current run through his body. Ann felt exactly the same as her hands grabbed for the medallion and tried to pull it out of his hands.

Carrie looked on in shock as an eerie silence filled the room, and at Ann and Stan looking down at their bodies, and felling them up and down. This continued for a few minutes, with only their moans breaking the silence until Carrie finally found her voice.

"Stan - your hair - it's getting longer!" she said, pointing towards his head.

Ann looked up away from herself and into Stan's face, as he grabbed his hair. For the first time since they were small children she wasn't craning her neck to do so. He seemed to be on the same level as her now. She could see that he had noticed it also at the same time that she had. They both yelled together.

"Stan - you're getting smaller/Ann - you're getting taller!"

Carrie joined in the yelling.

"No - you're both right. You're getting bigger" she said, pointing towards Ann, "and you're shrinking!" she said, turning towards Stan.

"Wh..what is happening to us. Why are we.." Stan squeaked as his voice shifted into a higher register.

"Yo..your face - it's changing!" Ann replied, her hands clutching her throat as her voice deepened, and discovering the beginning of an Adam's apple forming.

It soon became apparent to them all what was happening as Ann's hair grew shorter almost as quickly as Stan's moved rapidly now, down his back.

Carrie's hand rose to her mouth as she gasped, saying almost too quietly to hear.

"Oh my gosh - i..it must be the necklace. I..I didn't believe that it would really work!"

By this time Ann had already grown taller than her brother who was feverishly clawing at his body which seemed to have taken on a life of its own. Carrie watched entranced as Ann's shoulders began to broaden and her chest started to swell. She wasn't even hearing their cries for help such was the spell their transformation held over her. Things progressed rapidly after that and there was a rapid shedding of clothing as some became too tight, and others were loosening and falling down.

Carrie's trance was broken as Stan's high-pitched wail followed his fumbling around his groin.

"I..I don't believe it - it's gone damn it, it's gone!"

Ann's deeper voice joined in with Stan's exclamations, but from a totally different perspective, as she removed the dress that had become far too tight. She pulled down her panties and exposed what she had now gained, to them all.

"And I can't believe it either but I've got a..a!"

"Ann - cover yourself up for goodness sake!" Carrie called out, finding it hard to take her eyes from the large penis that hung from between her legs, and blushing at her own thoughts as she considered what it might feel like to hold it.

Ann ran from the room, Carrie's interjection making her realise her current state of disarray, and her newly powerful legs took the stairs in her stride as she started to head for her bedroom. It was the sight that greeted her in the full-length mirror in the hallway that held her up short, and made her re-consider which room she was going to find appropriate clothing in.

"Stan!" she gasped, seeing her reflection and realising, for the first time, what had happened to her.

She went into his bedroom and took the bathrobe that was hanging on the back of the door, pausing to hold her penis with her far larger hands, and feeling it grow in response to her touch. She quickly wrapped the robe about herself and willed the alien appendage to subside, knowing that she did not want appear in front of Carrie and Stan in such an embarrassing state. She had no luck however, the thing seemed to have a mind of its own and refused to go down.

Finally, her curiosity at wanting to know exactly what was going on downstairs got the better of her and she walked awkwardly down the stairs, trying to cover herself as best she could. She remembered her last sight of Stan, with the reddish blonde hair that she was so familiar with cascading down his back, his clutching desperately for what she suspected was his disappearing penis. His voice had sounded just like hers when he had screamed and, knowing who she had changed into, she now knew exactly what she would find when she returned.

She walked nervously into the room to see Carrie helping a woman who was an exact copy of herself, who was trying to cover her all too apparent breasts with the too large clothing she was fighting a losing battle with.

"Stan!" Ann gasped, for the second time in minutes, and watched with a morbid fascination as the face she had been so used to seeing from a reflection in the mirror, looked back at her with a horrified expression on her face.

"Ann!" Stan echoed, experiencing the same emotions of shock and wonder as he looked up from within his sister's former 5'4 frame to the 6'2 body she had stolen from him.

Both eyes turned towards Carrie as she softly spoke.

"I think I can explain," she said sheepishly, as she sat down to steady herself and looked at the abandoned medallion that she now held.

"I can't remember what it was called but, apparently, it allows the wearer to assume the shape of another's body, or even for a couple to trade places."

"Oh really - you don't say!" Stan said, his voice carrying a sarcastic, nasal whine that Carrie had never heard from Ann's body before.

"Why don't you just shut up for once in your life, and let her say what she has to say, or do I have to make you?" Ann said to Stan, daring "her' to challenge "him'.

Stan was suddenly acutely aware that Ann now had the physical strength to carry out her threat, and for the first time in his life felt intimidated by her, as was obvious, much to Ann's amusement. He tried to show that he wasn't scared and started to protest.

"Y..you big bully. If you think that you can make me..."

"Oh shut up the pair of you" Carrie interrupted, halting their pointless argument.

"What I was trying to say was that the change is not permanent I think. I'm sure that you will be able to change back but not until something has happened. If you wait here for a moment, I will go back home and get the document that came with the medallion. My aunt left it and I think it describes a little more about how this thing works.

"Don't worry - we won't be going anywhere" Stan answered as he looked down at the breasts that were pushing out from his chest.

Carrie only lived a few houses away, and she was back at the Hosford household just ten minutes after she had left, and holding a letter in her hands. She was mildly amused to note that Stan had put on some of Ann's clothing, keeping to a pair of slacks and a sweatshirt - something not too feminine. Ann, in the meantime, had pulled on a sports shirt and track-suit bottoms. Between the two of them she looked by far the most comfortable and was certainly getting some amusement at Stan's worried expression.

"Okay - I've read the letter and this seems to be the deal. The medallion will change its wearer into the form of whoever was the last owner of an item of clothing. That means that if you hold one of my tops to it then you would change into me. If it's a new item of clothing then you would change into the male, or female version of yourself" she stated.

"Then why did we swap bodies?" Ann asked, as Carrie scanned the letter again.

"Well according to this there is another angle. If two people touch it at the same time then they change into each other" she said, before folding up the letter and putting it back into her purse.

"B..but you said that it's not permanent - right?" Stan said, uncertainly, hoping for some reassurance.

"Oh that's right - I knew there was something that I had forgot" Carrie replied, while Ann actually laughed at the situation.

She knew that being a girl would be the worst situation that Stan could ever envisage! Her smile quickly faded though, as she then realised that if that was the case then she would be stuck as a man - an idea as equally abhorrent to her!

Carrie continued.

"It seems that you cannot use it to change back in less than twelve hours. Apparently the body needs that long to recover."

"So then that means that by the time that morning comes we can change back" Stan asked hopefully, sounding a little more optimistic this time.

"Whoah there - just hold on a moment. Let's get this right. Do you just change back automatically or do you have to do something first?" Ann asked.

"You have to use the medallion again, just in the same way as you did before. The process will then just repeat itself by in reverse."

Carrie and Stan looked at each other, and then at Ann, and then back at each other again, wondering just what was going through Ann's mind as a mischievous smile formed on her face. All of a sudden Carrie got a hint of what Ann might be considering and her mouth gaped open, first in amazement, and then in amusement as she saw her suspicions confirmed by the gleam in Ann's eyes.

Ann lay on her bed, unable to comprehend how much her world had changed since last night. Only yesterday evening she had been Stan Hosford, all round good guy and about to set off on a training session with a few friends.

Now, well - just what exactly was he? If she had had any doubts at the time there was certainly no excuse for them now. She had been told in no uncertain terms that she was Ann Hosford, petite and feminine bimbo and good for only what girls are good for. It had been so humiliating when Stan had looked at Carrie and Ann, and had asked what they were both smiling at.

"Why don't you sit down "Ann' his sister who was now in his body, said.

"Ann! Why are you calling me by your name?" she had said, rather feebly.

"Maybe these "superior' brain cells of yours are helping me to think a little bit straighter than you right now "sister', but right at this moment you would not be able to convince anyone outside of this room that you are not exactly who you appear to be now. That, in case you hadn't noticed, is your little sister Ann Hosford."

Stan finally did as Ann had suggested and sat down before his pretty legs gave way beneath him, unable to mutter a coherent word and his face went an ashen pale colour.

"I've been thinking dear. I've always had the looks and you've always had the brains. Now, by a quirk of fate, you have my looks "and' the brains, at least for the time being" Ann, in Stan's body said, taking the medallion from Carrie and dangling it out of Stan's reach.

"Y..you are going to change us back aren't you?" Stan said, his voice close to breaking.

Ann let a pregnant pause fill the room, extracting every second of agony from Stan before continuing.

"Yes - of course dear "sister'. Why would you think that I would want to stay a minute longer in this .. this boys body?" she said, running her hands down its length.

"Of course, while I have the medallion then I can always change back to myself any time - I don't need your help to do that, just an item of my clothing. In fact that is not a bad idea - I have always wanted to have a sister and this could be my chance. Just think, no more bullying, no more macho posturing. We'd be able to share clothes, try out make-up, compare notes on boyfriends - oh we could have such girly fun!" Ann said, clapping her hands in mock glee.

Poor Stan's face fell to the floor. He, she, looked quite ill until Carrie took pity on him, figuring that maybe he had suffered enough.

"Oh, come on Ann - you know that you can't do that. What would your parents say and how would we explain Stan's disappearance? Don't take this too far!"

Ann laughed and then sat down next to Stan, after carefully putting the medallion safely in the zipped up pocket of the track-suit, and put a brotherly arm around Stan's shoulders.

"Don't worry sis - you can change back into the obnoxious Stan again - that is after you have done me a little favour."

"Favour!" Stan replied in nervous anticipation. Whatever plan Ann was hatching was not going to be good news for him, that was for sure!

"Weeellll - I've this test for a job in just three days time. You've always called me a stupid bimbo, and you were only saying today that I would never pass it. You've always told me that I just haven't got the smarts and that all I'm good for is looking pretty on the arm of some man, and raising babies for him. Well I figure that maybe you can help me have some other options."

Stan felt a cold shiver run down his spine. He had a feeling that he knew just where this was leading and he didn't like it one little bit.

Ann continued.

"That test would be a piece of cake for you. If you were to take my place I would get the job, get my own place and then get out of your life. What do you say "little sister'!"

"Y..you're mad. If you think I am going to stay like this for another three days you must be out of your tiny mind!" Stan said indignantly.

"Well right now it's not my mind that's so tiny. I don't think you understood me "Ann'. I wasn't negotiating, I was TELLING you. You are going to "be' a girl, and Ann Hosford, for the next three days and take that test for me, or you will be a girl forever. While I've got the medallion then I call the shots."

Well that had been last night. There had been no point in arguing. Ann had held all of the aces and he had no choice other than to do her bidding; that was if he ever wanted to regain his manhood and his life again. Besides, Ann could be so stubborn once she had set her mind to something, and now she had the physique to back it up with.

Even worse, the terms she had given to him meant that he had to be Ann in every single way over those three days. He had to answer to the name of Ann, start thinking like Ann, act like Ann, to actually BE Ann in mind and body.

He had shuddered as he thought of what that might entail, and had left them to go to his bed in a state of nervous exhaustion. Of course, that was after Ann - no Stan - had reminded him just where her room was after he had started to head for his old room.

Well she hadn't remembered much after that. She had forced herself to think in terms that she was really Ann, she just had to if she was going to get out of this mess, and must have fallen fast asleep.

Now though, she was awake and it was morning, and she was trying to remember the strange dreams and thoughts that had entered her head during the night; dreams that seemed to be about Stan and her mother and father. She couldn't figure out what it was about the dreams that was disturbing her at first, but then she suddenly placed it. In all the dreams that she had had about her family she was viewing it from a different perspective - that as of seeing Stan from the position of an onlooker. She wasn't seeing life as Stan - she was seeing life "looking' at Stan, and so that must mean ..."

She quickly sat up in her bed, feeling the movement of her breasts to remind her that she was, indeed, all female now, and she shut her eyes tightly, trying to put herself back into her dream. She concentrated hard until fragments of those memories started to surface again, and as one of the scenes started replaying itself back to her she managed to gain a level of control over the dream. Almost fearing to do so, she forced her eyes to look down and saw what she had feared and expected - a young girl's short dress, skinny legs and a pair of girls shoes.

The new Ann opened her eyes again, trying to understand the significance of these new memories, when the door to her bedroom opened and in walked her old body. Despite accepting that this had really happened, and remembering yesterday's events, it was still difficult to see what had been his own body being animated by the will of another.

"A..Ann!"

"Stan, dummy - you have to remember that I'm Stan now, that is if you ever want to get your body back. Now get up, you've got a zillion things to do today and it'll take you longer to get ready than you are used to!"

Ann didn't bother arguing, she knew it was futile, and just followed her "brother's' lead. She was taken through a beauty regime that she had never realised had existed, and was sure that Stan was taking this a whole lot further than was necessary as a form of revenge for everything he had ever put her through in the past. Stan seemed to want her to have the whole female experience.

She was told to take a warm and bubbly bath, had her hair washed and set, had exfoliating cream scrubbed liberally into her face, had her eyebrows plucked, her eyelashes curled, her nails shaped and polished, and other tortures too vague to remember in detail.

All this had taken nearly two hours until Stan had helped her get dressed in a light and airy green dress that he had told her would set of the colour of her hair perfectly - he had insisted she wear this - no pants allowed. He finally made her stand and turn towards the full-length mirror on the landing, finding the high-heels far easier to manage than she would have ever imagined possible.

"There Ann" Stan said to her, "what do you think then?"

Ann took in the sight herself fully made up and resplendent in all her glory, for the first time. She had seen Ann in this body, similarly dressed and made up, on many an occasion, but had never fully appreciated how different it all looks when you are the one inside of it. It was a totally different proposition!

She watched the well-manicured hand that she was controlling move up towards her head and, unconsciously, pat an imaginary stray hair back in place - a typically feminine gesture, performed quite naturally. It was a gesture that Stan noticed with some satisfaction. Maybe she would appreciate just what girls have to go through once she went back to being a man again.

"Y..you are beautiful. I..I never knew..."

"No Ann - YOU are beautiful. I was merely the artist - the canvas was all you. Now come on - you have lots to do and you've got to get going."

"Going! Going where?" Ann asked, puzzled.

"Shopping. You're going shopping of course. That's what all you girls do at the weekend remember! Now here's your purse and here's the door so git!" Stan said, leading his sister down the stairs and easing her outside.

"B..but" Ann protested, but was unable to anything against her brother's greater strength, especially as she was having to cope with heels at the same time.

She found herself standing outside the front door, feeling hideously exposed and vulnerable in her short dress, and she was sure that everyone was looking at her. She was wondering just what to do next when a car pulled up and Carrie stepped out.

"Come on, hurry up - I'm coming with you. You didn't think we'd let you out on your own did you?"

Ann could have cried with relief, she was so grateful that she wouldn't have to face this all on her own that it didn't seem so bad any more. She was glad that she didn't though, it would only have caused her mascara to run! She nearly ran to the car, keen to get inside this unexpected sanctuary, and entered the passenger seat in a most unladylike fashion.

"You're going to have to work on your deportment a bit my dear" Carrie said to her, with a smirk on her face, "Ann does have a reputation to maintain!"

Ann's enforced patience snapped for a moment.

"Reputation - reputation! The only reputation that she has got is that of a frigid virgin. Why, Ted has been getting nowhere with her at all, what with her keep "em at arms length attitude. It would serve her right if I..."

Ann never finished her tirade as Carrie snapped back at her.

"Shut up - how dare you talk about Ann like that. That is just typical. I would have thought that you might have thought a little differently, being like you are now. Why, all I have to do is tell Ann what you've said and ..."

"All right, all right - I'm sorry. I..I wasn't thinking!" the new Ann said, eager now to placate Carrie. She would have to watch her temper a little closer in the future.

"Then just you remember that I will report everything thing that happens on our little expedition to Ann ..I mean Stan. I wouldn't like to be in your shoes if Stan's not happy with what he hears. I've never seen her, him, like this before" she said, and then, checking her mirror, pulled out and set off towards the mall.

"That's just the trouble - it's not my shoes that I'm in!" Ann mumbled to herself, and then hoped Carrie didn't hear her.

It was about 5:00pm that Ann returned home. She dropped an armful of fancy bags onto the sofa, and then crashed out beside them, kicking of her shoes in the process.

Stan looked up from the paper that he was reading and took another gulp from the can of beer that he was holding.

"Oh my gosh - I am so pooped. I could just lie down and sleep for a week!" she said, pulling out the slide from her hair that had been left in when she had had her makeover.

"Well I'm glad to see that you've enjoyed yourself. I hope that you didn't spend too much though, because I'll check and take whatever the amount was out of your wallet!" Stan said as he looked at the multitude of bags in amazement.

"I can also see that you're managing to adapt pretty well toots" he finished, his eyebrows raised as he grinned at her embarrassment at being spoken to in such a derogatory way, as he had done so many times himself.

As she flushed, and tried to hide her shame, she realised that in a way he was right. What had started out as a form of punishment had actually become quite enjoyable by the time that they had finished. Carrie had quickly seemed to forget that it was Stan that she was shopping with as they tried on dresses, jewellery and did other fun girl things. There, Ann had thought that it was a fun thing - something that Stan could never have envisaged before!

She thought about Carrie and about how good it had felt to be with her, and that was something that Stan had always wanted. The trouble was Carrie would never have been so natural with her when she had been a man, and now - well, now that she was no longer male she knew her feelings were no longer of the romantic kind anyway! As she dug deeper into her feelings she knew that there wasn't even any lust involved anymore - none of the usual hardness and urgency that she had always felt when thinking about Carrie. No, in fact as she probed her feelings even further she realised that even when they had both been in their underwear in the girl's changing room, and she had looked at Carrie's body, that she had only felt an appreciation of how attractive she was - nothing else.

She found it hard to admit to herself but then just who was she fooling anyway? No, she had felt something else, but what she had felt was what any other girl would feel when looking at an attractive girl, or female. It was just appreciation - appreciation of the whole look and comparing it to her own - nothing else!

Ann felt terrified for a moment - what was happening to her and how far would it go? She hoped that these feelings would subside once she returned back to being good old Stan, again remembering the lingering memories of being a girl that she had felt this morning.

"I said that don't put your feet up for too long!" she heard Stan say, interrupting her thoughts.

"What - what was that you said?" she said, looking at her brother.

"Huh - women! I don't know where your mind is half the time. I said don't put your feet up for too long. Ted will around to pick you up at 7:30pm and you're going to have to get freshened up and ready for him, and we all know how long women take to get ready" he grinned, noticing the look of shock on Ann's face.

"Oh - oh no. You can't seriously expect me to go out on a date tonight surely, not with my best friend. I won't - I just won't do it Stan - there are limits to just how far I will go!" she protested, sitting bolt upright in on the sofa, her fatigue quickly forgotten.

Stand remained calm but his voice held a hint of steel as he stared, intensely into her eyes.

"Well you had better not go too far - Ann does a reputation to maintain and I won't have you making me the local slut. You will also do as you are told "little sister', that is if you ever want to get out of skirts and back into pants again - the type with the zipper in the front."

Ann decided not to bother arguing. He would get his own way anyway, and there wasn't really any point in continuing it any further. Ted sat back and relaxed for a moment, looking a little pensive.

"I had anew experience today; I spent the afternoon with Ted and we hung out on the beach just playing a little football and watching the girls" he said, watching Ann bridle.

"You know - I think I like Ted a lot more when I'm Stan. There is none of that tension that I used to get, knowing that he wanted to get into my panties and thinking that everything was just a build up to that. He's a pretty fun guy otherwise!" Stan said, wistfully.

Defeated once again Ann gritted her teeth, and knew that she would just have to deal with it. She wondered what it would be like to have to spend the evening fending off Ted's amorous advances, and flushed a deep crimson once again, as she became aware of a heat building within the depths of her panties.

She fled upstairs, too ashamed to let her brother see her, as further latent memories of the original Ann made their presence known, and she had recollections of Ted's lips pressed against hers. What was worse was the fact that she was actually finding the memory pleasant, and the thought flew, unbidden, into her mind as to whether they might finish off the evening in a similar fashion. Oh lord, how could she ever face Ted once she returned to being Stan again, if she lets things get to that stage.

No, she resolved that she would keep Ted at arm's length all night if necessary!

It was almost like an action replay of that morning as Stan schooled Ann in the finer arts of how a girl prepares for a "romantic' evening out with her boyfriend. They ran through virtually the whole routine once again with the exception of the bath (this time she took a quick shower), and of washing the hair. A good brushing and some hair spray was deemed to be acceptable.

The only consolation that Ann had was that Stan had not insisted that she wear a dress, or even a skirt. She had been surprised at first, when Stan had taken out a pair of slacks, but as she pulled them on she noticed that their tightness emphasised every contour and shape in her lower body, and left nothing to the imagination. They were almost like they had been painted on and she felt more exposed than when she was wearing the dress earlier today! The figure-hugging top that she had also been given, only served to make her look even more seductive. If she had been a man she would have been panting at the sight of herself!

At first, she had expected Stan to insist on her wearing a dress, as a way of ensuring that she could not forget her enforced femininity, but when she asked why this hadn't happened Stan explained.

"Well it's simple toots (God, how Ann now despised that phrase and she mentally reminded herself never to use it again when she returned to being Stan), Ted is taking you bowling."

"Oh excellent!" she squealed, unaware of how girlish this sounded, "I love bowling, and I always beat Ted. Tonight might be fun after all!"

"I wouldn't get too excited - Ann has never been bowling before and this will be her first time. Besides, you know how men can never take being beaten by a girl, and I don't want you upsetting Ted. I have designs on him for the future."

Ann looked at him with her mouth agape. His best friend marrying his sister - he couldn't think of anything worse! He would have to help him out somehow, but maybe that could wait until after she had changed back.

"Don't worry - you won't be going on your own. I am coming, along with Carrie as well, so that we can keep an eye on you. I wouldn't want you to fall too much for Ted, I do have that reputation you know!"

"Huh - don't you worry yourself" Ann said, "there is no chance of that!"

Her voice didn't quite carry the conviction that it should have done though, and she was feeling a little peeved that Stan was, effectively, going out on a double date with them, persuading Carrie to go with him where he had always failed.

Just then they heard a knock on the door, and Carrie and Ted walked in together, having both arrived at the same time. Ann felt extremely nervous at what was going to be a big moment of truth for her, and would have happily fled if Stan's firm grip on her arm hadn't held her in place.

"Come on Ann, keep cool and just remember our deal" he whispered into her ear, and started to guide her down the stairs to greet them.

Ann stepped gingerly down the stairs, although she felt happier wearing the pumps as opposed the heels she had worn earlier, despite the fact that she had coped better than she had expected to. Her head was pointing towards the floor, but she was peering through her eyelashes and looking at Ted, watching his eyes drink in the vision that she was presenting.

"Ann - you look fantastic tonight, and I can't believe that both you and Stan are coming out together at the same time" Ted said.

Ann looked at Carrie and saw a smile of encouragement from her as Stan answered.

"Well maybe we have both just found out that we have a lot more in common than we had thought. Are we all ready then?" he said, walking towards Carrie and taking her arm.

He failed to notice the glint in Carrie's eyes as his arm touched hers, as they all went out to Ted's car. They ended up with the two girls in the back and the two men in the front. Carrie looked across at Ann, fascinated by how well Stan was carrying this off.

"I'm finding it really hard to believe that you're really Stan deep down, you know. I was watching you as you moved down the stairs and out to the car. You were "all female' and there was no trace of a male presence anywhere. The only way I can tell that you used to be Stan is because the real Ann, now in your body, is so much nicer than you ever used to be" Carrie said quietly, out of the boys hearing.

"Well thank you very much I'm sure, and you seemed to be taking full advantage of it from the way that you were hanging onto Stan's arm. I hope you remember your own reputation, and don't lose it with my body without me being in it!" Ann hissed back, upset at the way things were going.

Carrie just smiled at Ann's catty response. My, she really was adjusting!

The rest of the short journey went by quickly, with the boys up front joking and relaxing and with the girls in the back, with Carrie trying to break the ice, but with Ann ignoring her. Ann was all smiles again though when Ted came round to open the door for her, and to help her get out. She was all too aware that Stan was watching her closely, just to make sure there were no slip-ups, and she didn't want to risk upsetting him.

She stood up and looked down at herself, still surprised at finding her bosom looking so large from that angle, but feeling more and more comfortable with them by the hour. She ran her hands down her body, brushing off some imaginary dirt from her skin-tight trousers, not even aware of how feminine and sexy her gesture was.

"Oh wow - well I've just got to tell you Ann, I don't think I've ever seen you looking so pretty as you do tonight. You really are something special!" and leaned across to kiss her.

Ann just didn't know how to react to either the kiss, or the compliment. She had never had any experience of either, at least from her current perspective and, once again, blushed furiously, making her, even more, provocative to a red-blooded male. Ted put his large arm around her shoulder before leading her to the door of the bowling alley. She looked across to Stan and was surprised to catch a fleeting glimpse of - could it be - jealousy for a moment. She turned her head away, and a satisfied smile crept across her mouth as she enjoyed her brother's discomfort with the situation. She was also attempting to deny the warmth that was building within her panties again, not able to admit that she also had found the experience quite nice really - that would have been far too disturbing for her!

The evening had flown by quickly, and as Ted drove them home Ann found herself in the front passenger seat this time, confused and nervous about her feelings. As Ted's hand crept across the shift and onto her thigh, giving it an affectionate squeeze that promised far more, she actually felt her legs parting slightly in an automatic response that displayed her unacknowledged desires.

She was also aware that behind her, both Stan and Carrie were getting increasingly close to each other. She wasn't sure if this wasn't just a way of Stan showing her that anything she could do, he could do better, but she knew that there was more to it than that on Carrie's part. She really seemed to mean it and Ann was sure that this was no act - she could just tell!

She really hoped that Stan wasn't too pissed - he might make her stay this way for longer otherwise - maybe even forever! She felt so confused. Why wasn't this prospect seeming as bad as it had done earlier this morning, she asked herself? Everything was all happening too fast for her, and her unease had started as soon as they had started their bowling game.

The coffee they had taken before the game had passed by innocuously, and Stan had seemed to be in control of himself again, even when he watched Ted's close attention to her. No, it was when the game actually started that the fireworks started, at least for Ann.

"Okay little lady, now you've never been bowling before so why don't you let me help you get started and show you a few tips" Ted had said to her when it was her turn.

She should have been annoyed at being told what to do when, as Stan, he had always beaten Ted. Now though, she found herself slipping into the appeasing role of the submissive female all too easy, much to Stan's amusement.

"Okay now, let's just find you something that won't be too heavy" Ted said, as he searched for a light enough house ball, and then handed a bright orange one to her as he took hold of her hand.

Ann felt a strange fluttering sensation deep inside of her, as she looked at her small and delicate hands resting in his big rough ones. The bright nail-varnish she was wearing provided such a contrast to her pale skin.

"Small!" she heard, and then looked up at Ted.

"Huh!"

"I said small- your fingers, they're small!" Ted said pushing two of her fingers and her thumb into the holes in the bowling ball, and pushing her other hand underneath it to support its weight.

"Now careful there - you walk smoothly up to the line and then, when you think its straight down the middle then you let go" he said, indicating towards the bowling lane.

Ann looked aghast at him. He was being so patronising, and all because he thought that she was just a girl, and.. and.. that was reason enough! She looked across at Carrie and Stan and looked at the smug smile on their faces, knowing that they were enjoying every minute of his suffering.

But was it really suffering?

A part of her actually felt flattered that Ted cared enough to pay her such close attention, and she knew from her previous experience as a man, that he was most probably completely unaware of the how she might have felt about it.

Ted just took her hesitation as a sign that she didn't really know what to do and before she was even aware of it he had put his arms around her body, and pointed her towards the direction of the pins.

"Okay Ann, now just come with me and give it a try" he said, as they waddled towards the release line.

Ann got the same strange fluttering feeling she had felt earlier, as Ted's arms brushed against the side of her breasts. She felt so small, but so protected as he led her forwards and then finally, she felt his hand on her backside as she bent forward and released the ball.

"Oh bad luck, but at least you've got another try!" he said, as they watched her first ball drop into the gutter.

She heard the stifled laughter of Stan and Carrie and a new determination overtook her as she allowed Ted to repeat the earlier process. She knew how to do this - Stan had never been beaten by Ted - ever! This time she ignored his protective ministrations until after she had released the bowling ball. She wasn't even aware of the fact that his hand remained on her backside as the ball curved towards its target and hit slightly off to the right of centre, causing a domino effect that flattened the pins.

"Oh yeah - strike!" she yelled, and turned around to find herself in his arms and holding his face in her excitement.

Ted looked at her and leaned forward to kiss her, but she pulled away and walked over to the others.

"Well done Ann, well done" Stan said as he tried to look thrilled for her, and stepped up to take his own shot.

He watched the first ball go straight into the gutter. The second quickly followed. He walked back to his seat, trying to shrug off his embarrassment, and hoping that Ted wouldn't make too much of his sudden loss of form. He cursed himself. Just because he had Stan's body didn't mean he could bowl. He had never been bowling before - ever!

The evening continued in the same way, but with Stan managing to make the game closer than it should have been, what with Ted having his eye more on Ann's behind than the game.

Ann's attention came back to the present as she felt the car stop.

"Okay guys - we're here!" Ted had said as they pulled up outside Ann and Stan's house.

This time Ann waited for Ted to come around to her side of the car and open the door for her - she was learning fast. He opened the door for her but blocked her exit as Carrie and Stan walked towards the front door.

"Hey Ted - do you want a coffee or something? Our parents are away for the weekend so we won't be disturbing anyone" Stan called out.

"I'd prefer "something' if I had any choice in the matter" he said to Ann, who looked puzzled for a moment until she caught his double entendre, and then just flushed again.

She pushed her left leg outside of the car and stood up, moving Ted to one side as she did so. Tension seemed to fill the air as she looked up to Ted and saw the expectant look on his face.

"I..I really don't think that would be a good idea Ted. I..I."

Ann had run out of words, not knowing how she really felt any more, or if she did then she didn't know how to say it. Ted had always been her best friend and, as Stan, she had loved him like a brother. This though - this was something different! His dumb smile and hope of something more had become crestfallen at her words, and she felt a tugging of her heart- strings at his obvious disappointment. She also felt something else, something totally alien to her at the memories of his arms pushing into the side of her breasts back at the bowling alley, and the stirring of something else, except that it was much lower down than her heart this time!

Ted put his hands on her shoulders and stared deeply into her eyes. Ann felt as if she was melting under his gaze.

"Ann - what is it - did I do something wrong. You seemed a little distant tonight."

"N..no - you did nothing wrong - it..it's just a girl thing - in fact I'm beginning to think that you did everything right!" she replied, a tear forming in her eye as she turned away and started to run towards the sanctuary of her home.

Ted looked at her puzzled. Who could ever figure out girls? So he had done everything right apparently, but she had still pulled away from him and was walking away. Go figure! Despite his frustration something stopped him driving away and Ted called out to her, causing her to stop in her tracks.

"Ann - wait! How about spending some time with me at the beach tomorrow - I can pick you up at 11 o'clock?" he said, hopefully.

She just nodded her head before running through the door and straight up the stairs to her room before burying her head in her pillow and crying.

Stan had watched all of this with Carrie at his side, and as they sat down on the sofa together he unconsciously laid his arm behind her back, just above her shoulders. It was something that Carrie hadn't missed though, and she moved in slightly closer to him until his arm was resting on her.

"Well I hope the stupid girl hasn't ruined things for me and Ted by that display. If she has I..I'll."

"Oh give the girl a break for a moment. Right now she has female hormones racing all around her body, and also the equipment to go with it. She has just spent the evening with a big handsome man paying her every attention. She's going to be feeling things she has never felt before - she won't be able to help herself. You should know what it's like - you can't have forgotten in less than a day - surely?" Carrie asked, moving in closer all of the time, knowing exactly how Ann must have felt, because she was feeling all of that herself!

Stan's mind was in a whirl. If what Carrie was telling him was true then that must mean that he was being equally affected by the male hormones that were now running rampant within himself. He looked again at Carrie and he still had enough of his female experience to realise that she was reacting to him as more than just a friend - it was as a woman to a man!

He felt confused himself now, because he also realised that he was also reacting as any man might when an attractive woman was practically offering herself to him. He didn't want to take that thought any further though - how could he even think that such a thing might be possible - not with his best friend!

"Look Carrie .. I .. I've got to get up early tomorrow. I think I'd better get some sleep. It's been a long day."

Carrie knew when she was getting the brush off and she stood up to leave, hiding her disappointment, and leant across to kiss him gently on the cheek.

"Yeah - I guess I forgot. I've sort of got used to you like this. How about joining me for a bite to eat tomorrow, it'll save you cooking anything, what with parents being away for a few more days."

Stan didn't know how to react to the kiss, and answered without thinking.

"I..I'm supposed to be meeting up with Ted tomorrow. We've got a training run planned."

"Okay - but I'll see you later then - maybe" she said, and left the room, giving Stan a shy smile that he had never seen from her before, when he had been Ann.

The Next Morning

It had only been the second night that Ann had spent as a female and as she stretched and let her hand wander down her body, she felt momentarily confused. There was no sign of the early morning woody that she had been so used to, and she experienced a brief moment of panic that shook her fully awake, until she remembered yesterday's events.

A very female voice greeted her as she groaned.

"Oh no - so then it was true. I really must be in Ann's body."

As she lay there she started to recall some of her dreams and memories from last night and recognised, as she had yesterday, that some of them she could had never lived through herself - at least that was what she thought! New memories of growing up as a girl merged with what she knew were her real memories of life as Stan and she mourned for that life which was temporarily lost to her until additional memories eased their way into her consciousness. These were thoughts of Ted and despite her reluctance to admit so to herself, they were far more pleasant.

As if in response to these thoughts she became aware of a new sensation that although it was different from the hardness that she was used to, nonetheless bore similarities. She moved her legs and felt a warm stickiness at the junction between her legs and let her head flop back down onto the pillow in shame at recognition of what it was.

Her hand continued downwards, exploring her body as if by its own volition, and passed through the soft and downy hair that framed her sex. Her fingers trailed through the oily secretions, spreading them around the hard nub of flesh that was getting increasingly sensitive to her touch, and a moan escaped from her lips as she started to enjoy what she had previously denied.

Her mind went back to the previous night, and how she had fled from Ted. She knew that it had been because she had been scared of the burgeoning feelings that were building inside of her, and how she did not want to give into the temptation of pulling Ted's face towards her and burying her lips within his. It would have been wrong - she was still a man deep down - wasn't she? She had taken herself straight to bed and despite her body craving for attention had denied herself any form of pleasure from it, fearing that if she had started down along that road then she would never have been able to leave it.

Now though, her defences had been well and truly broken, her willpower weakened in the dream like state between sleep and waking, and she was travelling that road with no thought of where the journey might end. As Stan, she had always looked down on women but now she was getting an appreciation of some of the attractions of being a girl, and she nearly became lost in her new femininity as she dreamed of Ted. Her tension started to build until her thoughts of Ted reminded her of something from yesterday and took the edge of off what she was doing. Suddenly, she remembered that Ted had said he was going to pick her up at 11:00am and her mood changed.

She pulled her fingers away from herself reluctantly, and reached across to the alarm clock on the bedside table.

"Oh no - I'll never get ready in time!" she exclaimed, seeing that it had just turned 9:30am, and remembering how long her preparations had taken her yesterday.

She leapt out of her bed and ran towards Stan's bedroom looking for his help but on opening the door, saw that he was still fast asleep. She decided that even if she woke him now, he would be in no condition to be of much use to her. She had not been a morning person when she had been in that body, and strongly suspected that this Stan would be the same.

The lack of time available to her inspired her, and after a quick shower, plus a quick scrape of her legs and underneath her arms, she set about preparing her face. She didn't really have time to do anything else other than to follow her instincts, and by the time she had finished she was quite surprised by just how good a job she had made.

It was the same when she started to get dressed. She started to look for a bra and panties set, but then thought that if she went to the beach it might be better if she wore a bikini under her street clothes. She wasn't really sure just what Ted had planned. Thirty minutes later she was staring at her reflection in bedroom mirror and thought that, all things considered, she looked pretty good. The short black skirt and white blouse would be acceptable for any occasion, and the cerise coloured cardigan set her hair off perfectly. She knew that she looked really pretty.

No sooner had she finished giving herself one final check than she heard a car horn from outside, and she ran to the bedroom window to see Ted waving to her. She felt a flutter run through her heart as she saw his boyish grin, and waved back, smiling quite naturally as another memory of her holding her tightly and pulling her lips to him leapt into her mind. It was getting harder and harder to know what were her real memories and what were fantasies and her face fell again for a moment, as she hoped that Stan would change them back again, after the test tomorrow. If she spent too much longer in this body she might do something that she, they, might both regret!

She cast aside her doubts and determined to just enjoy the day the best she could, as she ran down the stairs, not even noticing that heels did not seem to be a problem to her any more.

Stan stirred from his slumbers, a noise having woken him from a deep sleep and the sound of heels pounding down the stairs completing the job. As he pulled back the sheet he felt a horrible sticky wetness from around his middle that felt very familiar, but he was used to experiencing it from much further down his body. It took him a few seconds to realise what it was, and when he did he just grimaced.

"Urrgghhh - what a time to have a wet dream!" and then remembered his thoughts of Carrie just before he woke.

A shiver passed through his body at the thought of thinking about his best friend in such a way, but it soon passed when he heard a car door slam outside their house. He leapt out of his bed and cast the sticky sheet aside, and ran to the window, totally naked and visible from the waist up. He felt a sense of shock as he saw his former body climbing into Ted's car, and threw open the bedroom window as Ted walked round to the driver's side, having let his sister into the passenger side.

"Hey Ted!" he yelled to his friend, "I thought we were going training together!"

"Oh sorry buddy, you could say that something else has come up. Look, I'll give you a call later - maybe!" Ted replied.

Stan was speechless as he saw his sister's face smiling back at him as the car pulled away. He couldn't believe it - the bitch was actually taking his boyfriend on a date and leaving him here alone! It was just at that point that Carrie walked into sight and smiled as she looked at Stan's lean and muscular form.

"Hi Stan" she called out, "you're looking well today."

He looked surprised for a moment as he saw the grin on her face, and then looked down at himself and realised that although the lower half of his body was hidden, he was still stark naked and that Carrie had probably guessed as much. He was torn between feeling humiliated at his current state of undress, and the need to talk to someone about the feelings he felt towards Ann, having seen her drive off with his (her) boyfriend. In truth, Carrie was the only one he could possibly have shared his feelings with so he called for her to wait downstairs for him and he'd be down shortly.

Ten minutes later, following a shower and a shave, he was fully awake and entered the kitchen to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and the smell of cooking.

"Here you are big boy," Carrie laughed as she handing him a plate of ham and eggs, "you'll feel much better after this."

Stand didn't argue, although he wondered about the "big boy' reference. Had she seen more of him than he had realised for in truth, Stan certainly WAS well endowed? Whatever, it didn't matter now anyway, and by tomorrow evening he would be back in his own body again he thought.

He finished eating his breakfast without a pause and then sat back for a moment, feeling fulfilled and relaxed. Carrie laughed inwardly again at how much Ann had changed and at the male like characteristics he had developed. She knew that half the battle in getting a man to do what you wanted was to fill his belly and let him think you were pandering to his every whim. She couldn't believe how easily Stan had fallen into this pattern and she gave every appearance of listening attentively while he spilled out his thoughts and fears, although in reality she was studying him closely.

She was thinking about how strange it was to be sitting here with a former girl, whilst the former macho oaf was by now lying back on a beach somewhere, and having all the guys ogling her gorgeous body. She smiled inwardly again as she wondered how she was coping with it, although she thought that she would be just fine based on the evidence of last night and also this morning. It was obvious that she had got ready for Ted without the help of Stan, and she had done a terrific job, looking every bit as sexy as the original Ann would have done, but even more so!

As she though about this she considered how much the original sweet Ann, and the arrogant pig Stan, had really changed, and all this just within one day. The former girl opposite her looked every bit as handsome and as rugged as it's previous owner had done but there was something else as well. This new Stan still bore all the male bonhomie and swagger that it had previously contained, and it had obviously inherited a whole host of characteristics and even memories, from what he had told her last night. But as she studied him, Carrie could tell that there was still enough of Ann inside of it to give it a new dimension. Her overall pervading sweetness was still there, not enough to make him appear feminine but enough to give him a sensitivity that is so rarely found in a male.

As she thought about the new Ann she considered how different she was as well. Despite how sweet the original Ann had been, she could be a bit aloof and untouchable at times, especially with men, and this had given the reputation of being a bit of a tease. She wondered how some of her boyfriends had put up with her attitude at times, especially Ted. She knew, from talking to Ann, that he had not even got past first base and this was after six weeks of dating. The new Ann though seemed to have a certain vulnerability about her, and there was now something about her that made her totally irresistible to men, she was sure of that.

Why, you only had to look at Ted last night. Even after the way that Ann had avoided him and all, and how she had even refused to kiss him good night at the end of the evening he had still almost begged her to meet him today. Yes, she had seen that sign before - he was well and truly hooked and Ann didn't even realise it. If she would only relax into what she now was she would have him dangling from the edge of her finger.

Yes, it would be a shame really that things couldn't stay as they were, she was sure that it would turn out better for all of them if it did. She actually thought about it for a moment, but she knew that couldn't do such a thing to her friends, as much as she would have liked to do so, for she was sure that she was falling for the new man opposite her right now.

Her eyes were fixed on the way his lower lip trembled, thinking about how much she would like to nibble it, when all of a sudden she noticed that it had stopped moving. She looked up at his deep blue eyes and saw a brief look of annoyance, which she found even more attractive!

"I said, would you mind doing that for me? Haven't you been listening at anything I've said?" he asked her.

"Well of course I have, but are you sure that's the right thing to do?" she said, stalling for time and hoping that he would repeat what he wanted her to do.

"Yes I am. I don't know what Ann thinks she playing at but I would be grateful if you would keep an eye on them for just a little while, just so they don't get up to anything. I don't want Ted to think that I'm following them and if they see you well, it would be far less threatening to them both."

"But I don't know where they've gone."

"Oh for goodness sake girl, concentrate. As I have already told you, they will most probably be down by Green Point. That was where Ted always took me on a day like this. You could get there in less than twenty minutes if you leave now."

Stan held Carrie's hands, imploring her to help him for whatever reason he needed her to do this and she found that she could just not resist his warm, blue eyes. He looked so helpless!

"Okay Stan, I'll see you later. Maybe we can hang out for a while then, and I can tell you what I saw."

"Oh right, sure" he replied, "yeah, that'd be good."

Ann was holding on to Ted's hand tightly as he helped her over the sand. He had told her that he was taking her to Green point, and that he knew a secluded little spot between rocks where they could have some privacy. Although she should have known better, Ann had no idea why they should want that but just followed his lead anyway.

She knew now, that heels were not the best thing for walking on the beach with, and had stumbled on more than one occasion until Ted had suggested that she took them off. She found walking barefoot much easier, but she was puzzled as to why Ted seemed to heading towards some rock pools before she felt herself being swept of her feet, and being cradled in Ted's arms.

"T..Ted! Wh..what do you think you are doing" she cried, feeling totally helpless as he lifted her small and light body into the air.

"Just protecting my fair lady my darling. I wouldn't want you to get wet on my account" he replied, and stepped into the nearest rock pool before heading towards a group of rocks.

Ann hung on for dear life, and threw her arms around his neck as he looked down into her eyes, feeling nervous and afraid. She didn't know if she was scared because he might take advantage of her, or because he might not!

Oh, this being a girl and everything was so confusing. She just looked forward to tomorrow evening when everything would return to normal again.

She looked around at the secluded spot he had chosen for them and realised that nobody would be able to see them if they didn't already know that they were there.

Moments later she felt herself being lowered to the ground, and Ted spread out the two large beach towels he had brought with him, and then started to undress. Ann's eyes nearly came out of her head at the sight of him and with what he was doing. She had seen him many, many times in the shower but this was different. Now, his lean and muscular body was there to compliment hers - not to compete with it, and a shiver ran through her body as she took that thought further!

"Come on Ann - you're not going to stand there all day are you? It's time to catch some rays!"

Ann came out of her trance, and was aware of the now familiar feeling of heat building up between her legs. She decided to act quickly in case he spotted her signs of arousal, and quickly removed her outer clothes and lay down beside him, glad that she had put on the bikini underneath them after all.

As she lay down next to him she became very aware of just how close they were together. She felt so small and diminutive next to this hulk of a man, and she trembled again, as he sat up, looking for something in the bag he had brought with them.

"Okay - turn over and I'll do you first" he said, and for a moment she wondered what he could possibly mean until she gave a sigh of relief as she saw the sun-tan oil that he was holding.

She wasn't sure that she really wanted him doing this to her - she really wasn't ready for that.

"N..no. Let me do you first" she said, saying the only thing she could think of to buy herself some time.

She saw the grin on his face and realised that this was going to be just as bad for her and the alternative as he rolled over on his stomach. As he lay there she looked at his tight behind and felt an odd stirring again, which she knew, was very wrong. Deciding that she needed to do something to drive away her thoughts, she squeezed a generous portion of the oil on the palm of her hand and slapped it on his back.

"Hey - that's cold!" he laughed, and then settled down again as her other hand joined in and started spreading the oil around his back.

She felt a quivering inside of her as her small hands eased the oil into his skin. She had never been so close to a man before, in such circumstances, and had never had a chance to observe Ted's strong shoulders and muscular back in such a way. She again thought about how strong he was, and how he could do whatever he wanted to her, if he had the mind to do so and about how she would be powerless to stop it, as her hands travelling into the small of his back. She gulped as he raised his body a little and pulled the top of his shorts down and exposed his hips and she quickly spread the oil there as well, eager to get this over with.

Deciding that his back was well covered, he turned over so that she could start on his front. She gulped again, knowing that she would have to look into his face this time and she was sure that he would be able to detect the emotions that were coursing through every cell in her body. She rubbed the oil into his chest, and felt the wiry hair that lightly covered it and then gasped as his hand grasped her wrist.

"You know Ann, there is something different about you that I can't quite work out. You've always refused to do this before, but you have done it so sensually that I hope you do it like this every time from now on."

She just couldn't help herself as she looked down and saw the evidence of his excitement making its presence known within his shorts. She looked back quickly, but flushed a deep red as she knew that he had caught her looking, and just knelt there with her mouth open, not knowing what to say next. Ted saved her any further embarrassment by telling her that it was her turn now, and she rolled over onto her stomach, grateful to escape his gaze.

Moments later she gave a start as the sensation of the oil hit her back, and she then became aware of the feeling of strong, but gentle hands, massaging her back and spreading the oil, just as she had done to Ted earlier. Her skin seemed to be so alive to Ted's touch and she felt herself enjoying his close attention as his firm and soothing hands eased away her tensions. She started to squirm with delight as he reached her hips and kneaded the small of her back before travelling back to her shoulders again. The tension was unbearable for her as she felt his hands caress her neck, and her whole body responded by arching itself, completely beyond her control, until she prayed that he would stop.

"There, now doesn't that feel good!" he said, as his hands slipped around her ribs and massaged the soft spot just beneath her breasts. She responded with an affirmative groan as she turned around, her eyes tightly shut in fear of what she knew she would see in his eyes.

Before she had realised it she felt her bikini top being lifted away and then felt Ted's hands taking the weight of her breasts, and his thumbs running across her nipples. She opened her mouth to complain but instead found Ted's mouth meet hers, and his tongue ease its way between her lips.

She could have, should have, fought back and should at least have tried to push Ted away from herself, but he just interpreted her raised arms as an attempt to hold him closer and clamped his mouth over her own even tighter. Her attempts to resist him slowly melted under his onslaught and Ted's reading of her acceptance became a reality as she finally stopped fighting him, as her fears turned to desire. She was soon matching Ted's caresses with her own, and when he broke for air she simply moaned her acceptance of what he was doing to her before pulling him back towards her again.

She raised her back from the sand as his hands slipped easily across her breasts, and she was hardly even aware that her bikini bottom was being removed, and that Ted was moving over on top of her. She found her legs parting beyond her control, and it was only when Ted's penis penetrated her wet and yielding maidenhood that she realised just how far they had gone.

It was too late for second thoughts though.

She gave a gasp as his firm manhood entered deep inside of her and she felt the initial pain as it tore through her hymen. The pain soon turned to pleasure though, for she was too far gone to even think about resisting - even if she had wanted to! Her rhythmical thrusting was matching his own until he brought her to the point of no return and as he exploded deep inside, she screamed out her joy as she experienced her first female climax.

Their thrusting soon slowed down and Ann felt a wonderful pain, followed by an aching absence, as Ted's penis withdrew, leaving her clutching her thighs together in an attempt to retain the memory of what they had shared. As they gasped and regained their breath, Ann felt Ted's fingers playing with her hair and she felt a brief sadness as she realised that this would be the only time she would ever experience this feeling of being possessed in such a way.

She listened to his soft breathing and felt a contentment that she had never felt before, either as Stan or as Ann, as he spoke softly to her.

"Ann - I don't know what it was that made you give yourself to me today, but whatever it is I..I think I love you. I..it feels like you're your my best friend and my lover all rolled into one!"

She leant across and kissed him lightly of his neck, feeling the salty taste of his perspiration as she replied. He didn't know just how true that was.

"And I love you too Ted."

Carrie had reached Green Point about thirty minutes after Ann and Ted, and had struggled to find them at first until she remembered where Stan had told them where they might be. She searched high and low for a while and was just about to give up the search when she heard a high-pitched squeal, like the sound of a girl experiencing either intense pleasure or a horrible pain.

Being very quiet, she removed her sneakers and paddled through the water of a rock pool until she saw footprints on the other side of the water. She was just about to walk around the rock in front of her when she saw two bodies, one male and one female, and pulled back behind the rock again in case she had been seen. There seemed to be no reaction from the couple and she, carefully, put her head around the rock again, this time letting her gaze linger a little longer. She stared open mouthed as she saw the naked form of the man pull out of the equally naked female. She couldn't see either of their faces but it was obvious as to what they had been doing, and she pulled behind the rock again, scandalised at the audacity of the pair, for daring to perform such an intimate act in a public place.

She kept very still for what seemed like hours until she had plucked up enough courage to once again risk another look. By this time she could see that the couple were almost clothed and she gasped again, as she knew that she recognised the outfit that the girl had got on. She had seen it that very morning as she saw her get into the car.

"Ann!" she said to herself, and then put her hand over her mouth, fearing that she had been heard. Her fears were groundless though, and she stood transfixed as she watched the girl, who had once been the macho Stan Hosford, lean forward and offer her mouth to her former best friend, now her lover.

"And I'm telling you Stan, I know what I saw and I can make a pretty good guess as to what they were doing before I got there."

Stan sat down, not able to believe what Carrie had told him, but also knowing full well that it was true. He had feared as much when he had seen Ted and Ann set off together. Strangely enough he knew that he should felt more jealous than he did, after all, she "had' taken away her boyfriend, and Stan was now sure that she had given her self to him, completely. He would never have believed that her brother, now in her body, could have done such a thing except...!

His thoughts started taking him in a different direction and he looked back at Carrie, feeling the blood rise from deep within him, and he could no longer deny that she was having an effect at him. Carrie looked back, sensing the inner battle he was having, and knowing that she wanted nothing more than for him to claim her, both in body and soul.

As Stan saw her look his nerve failed him. He wanted to give her what she wanted him to, but that would have meant more to him than he was prepared to admit to at this point - even to himself!

He knew that he just had to change places with Ann again, and for the first time regretted taking that fateful decision that now threatened to undermine all his hopes and dreams, or what they had once been.

He stood up and pulled Carrie to her feet, giving her hope that her feelings were about to be reciprocated, but these were soon dashed.

"Look - Carrie, I..I think that I need some time on my own. I just wish that you had never showed me that damned medallion!"

Carrie felt crestfallen at this rejection, and bit her lip and she bade Stan good night and left. Maybe it really would be the best for them all, if she put everything back to how it was.

She left Stan and Ann's house, just moments before the topic of their conversation returned.

It was 7:00pm by the time that they returned home. This time Ann invited Ted in for a coffee, all her fears and inhibitions had gone and the only thing she was regretting was that she was going to have to change back to Stan by this time tomorrow unless she could do something to change the original Ann's mind.

She led Ted into the kitchen and put a pot on the stove while he sat down at the kitchen table, and looked appreciatively at his girlfriend, as she reached for some cups from a cupboard. He could have offered to have helped her of course, but he was far happier just enjoying the view and admiring her curvaceous body

He couldn't believe the change that taken place in her today, and he hoped that this wasn't just a "one off' occurrence. It was as she turned around and gave him a warm smile that he realised that he truly meant those words that he said to her on the beach - he really did love her! He had said such a thing many times before, it usually seemed to go down well, but this time he knew it was real. As Ann turned her back to pour them some coffee he crept up behind her and put his around her waist, letting the weight from her breasts rest on his arms.

The coffee was forgotten as Ann turned around and returned his caress with a passionate kiss. A she pulled away from him and turned her head, she gave a self-satisfied smile as she realised that she had managed to lose Ann's virginity before the original had, and it felt so good.

Ann walked out of the interview room having finished taking the test. She knew that Stan was going to freak when he heard that she had not done at all well - in fact she had failed! It should have been a breeze for her but she had found it so hard to concentrate on those questions. She knew that deep down she had the answers but somehow couldn't seem to drag them out when she had needed them.

Maybe it was because she had just had so much on her mind, especially following the row that they had had with Stan last night, but she wasn't sure that this was the only reason. She had been surprised at how Stan had known about her and Ted until Carrie revealed that she had seen them.

"You - you little tramp! How could you do that - how could you give up my body to him? You're just a little slut!" Stan had yelled at her.

Ann looked across at Carrie and saw her blush a bright crimson, as her eyes revealed her shame and betrayal.

"Don't you shout at me!" she yelled back at Stan, "it is not "your' body at the moment and anyway - it was you that put me in it. There was nothing sordid in what Ted and I shared- we're in love!" she had shouted, and then went silent as she realised what she had said.

The three looked at each other and then Ann turned and ran up the stairs, slamming the door to her room shut and locking herself in as she broke down and sobbed her heart out. It was true - her feelings had been revealed in that moment of confrontation - she really was in love!

Her mind came back to the present.

She knew that there was maybe yet another reason why she had not done well in the test. Maybe it was because she knew that they were going to change back after the test, and she was wasn't sure that she wanted that any more. She really felt more like Ann than Stan now, and she didn't want to lose what she had shared with Ted. The thoughts of him brought a smile to her face as she climbed into the back of the cab, and her hand rose and rested lightly on her bosom as she remembered Ted's touch.

The taxi ride back only took a short while and she was soon opening the door to see both Stan and Carrie waiting for her. She swallowed hard, not wanting to tell Stan what had happened, and dreading the moment that she would become Stan again.

"Well - come on girl - give me the good news and then we can get back to normal again" he said, and then looked at Carrie and saw the disappointment in her eyes that she was trying to hide.

Ann straightened herself, trying to bolster her courage.

"I flunked it - failed - blew it - zeroed. You didn't get the job!"

There - it was out!

A silence filled the room again as Stan tried to understand what he was being told, and not able to believe it. Ann winced and stepped back as he rose and towered above her.

"Y..you stupid little girl. You mean after all of this you went and blew it. Well I told you what would happen if you didn't pass the test for me, and I can only believe that you failed on purpose. Carrie - pass me the medallion - the sooner I can change back the better."

"B..but what about me?" Ann whimpered.

"I've got a good mind to leave you as a girl just like I said I would and I can still do that - even after getting my own life back. Maybe I will change you to a little girl and you can learn what it's really like to grow up a female - the hard way!"

"Stan - you can't!" Carrie yelled, as he advanced on his sister, a piece of cloth in his hand.

He put the medallion around the transfixed Ann's neck and then touched the cloth to it and looked at her shocked face, smiling, as she waited to find out what she would become. He looked back at Carrie.

"Don't worry - you should know me better than that. Although she doesn't deserve any better, I really couldn't do that to her. I was just getting one last little moment of revenge. That was one of Stan's handkerchiefs. She will be he again, in just a short while."

"But why didn't you just touch it along with her, that way you would have changed back to Ann at the same time?" Carrie asked.

"What, and lose my virginity. I reasoned that if I used some of my own clothing that she hadn't worn since her sexual liaison with Ted" he said in a sneering tone that caused Ann to blush in embarrassment, "then I would have returned to the Ann Hosford who existed before. The Ann Hosford who was still pure."

"Wow - good thinking. I bet you would never have worked that one out before you became Stan!" Carrie said, realising that he was indeed far brighter than he had ever been as a she.

Ann sobbed a little. It was partly with relief at finding out that she wasn't going to be changed into a little girl after all, but also with regret at becoming Stan again. It was all over - how would she ever get over this!

"I..isn't there anything you are going to miss when you become Ann again?" Carrie asked him, looking at Stan with sad eyes.

He turned away not able to meet her gaze. He knew what she was alluding to and he had to admit that if he had stayed this way for much longer, then he would have been more than tempted to give his male equipment a work out with her. He was finding her more and more alluring by the hour. He looked back at Ann gain, searching for the first signs of the change that was going to occur, and noticed her facial muscles rippling as they reformed themselves.

"It won't be long sis, and then you can be the big brother again" Stan said as he watched her shoulders widen as her breasts started reducing.

It was an exact reversal of the process they had witnessed before, and Ann's whimpering turned to moans as she grabbed at her vanishing breasts in a vain effort to retain them.

"N..No!!! Please - let me stay as I am!" she wailed, and then gave a start as it moved deeper for a moment.

As if in response to her plea the upper part of her body started shuddering and Stan and Carrie looked dumbfounded as Ann's breasts started re-emerging. The rest of the changes that had begun, as she had started her return to her former male form, quickly reversed and in minutes she was back to being Ann Hosford once more, just as she had been before Stan had touched the cloth to her. The three of them looked at each other in amazement as Carrie put her hand to her mouth as she realised the implications of what this must mean.

"What happened - what the hell happened? Why did she change back?" Stan yelled as Ann ran to a mirror to reassure herself that she was, indeed, back to her "new' self.

"Look, I think that you had better both sit down. I think I know why she didn't change back to Stan. I was reading up on some of the medallion's history last night and there are a few things that will prevent a transformation" she said, not knowing how she was going to break this news to them.

"You know that there's a twelve hour time limit before you can use it again well another condition is that a female can't change if she is menstruating - I think you had better go and check" she said, looking at Ann.

Ann ran from the room, her face ashen, and returned a few moments later and told them that she wasn't having her period yet.

"Okay - then I think that can only mean one thing. I think you are pregnant" she said, bluntly.

Ann and Stan looked at each other, and then back at Ann's midriff as if expecting to see visible evidence of her presumed state.

"Pregnant!" they cried in unison.

"B..but how can that be?" Ann wailed.

"Oh don't you be so stupid girl - I think that even you can work that one out. Tell me, did you use any protection with Ted yesterday when you.. when you..?"

"N..no. I..I didn't even think about it!" she said, shocked that it had not even occurred to her to use anything, such had been the heat of their passion.

"Oh for heavens sake. That is so typical of a man, even if you're not one any more. Leave it all up to the woman to think of everything. Well I have just about had enough of this. How long is it going to be until she can change back again, because I am going to become Ann."

"No, you can't. Now just calm down a moment and think this through" Carrie said, taking hold of Stan's hand in an attempt to calm him down.

"She won't be able to do anything until she has gone full-term and had the child. That is the way he medallion works. That's going to mean she will have to be Ann Hosford for at least another nine months."

"Nine months! Well that's her lookout. Just change me back and then she can worry about how she's going to cope."

"Wait a minute - just do as I said and think this through. How are you going to explain Stan's disappearance, and how are you going to cope with a new born baby even if Ann switches back once it's born?"

"Me - cope with a baby - what do you mean?"

"Oh come on, and I thought that you were getting smart! If she switches back to Stan, even if nobody asks where he has been, you will be the only Ann Hosford then, and Ann Hosford will have a baby. No, there's only one solution to this. You're going to have to remain as Stan, at least until the baby's born and maybe you can see how you both feel then."

The reality of the situation left neither Ann nor Stan with any choice and they both realised it at the same time, although with very different and mixed emotions.

Stan was just shocked and couldn't believe the hole that he had dug for himself when he had attempted to cheat himself into a job. He sat there and put his head in his hands as he considered his future.

Ann felt both nervous and relieved. Nervous as any prospective mother might feel when she found out that she was going to have a child. Relieved because it meant that she could now be Ann for a lot longer. She also knew that if Stan had been experiencing the same emotions and feelings that she had during the last two days, then he would be feeling more natural about being a male with every passing day. He just needed a similar experience to what she had enjoyed with Ted to break his resistance and her woman's intuition told her that Carrie would soon break down that final barrier. Even if he didn't go with Carrie she was still sure that there would be precious little of the woman left in Stan by the time that six months had passed.

She gave a little sob of happiness and then thought about how she was going to tell Ted. She knew that he would stand by her - he was a good man. She was so lucky.

"Come on Stan. It won't be so bad. You've got a good friend in me and I'll be here for you whatever happens" Carrie said, holding on to his arm as they walked across the quiet beach.

Carrie had brought him here to help to clear his head after Ann had gone to find Ted. She knew that Ann was happy with how it had turned out and that she was in love with Ted, any woman could see that. She was more concerned about Stan now. As they walked she fingered the medallion that she had put in the back pocket of her pants.

"I know Carrie - you have always been there for me and I'm so lucky to have you as a friend" he replied, as he stopped and looked into her face.

He was looking at her and seeing her in a way that he had never seen her before, and he could feel his manhood stiffen in response to his emotions as she smiled back at him. Before he knew what was happening he was clutching her to him and she melted into his arms and responded in kind. Maybe he would be able to see the next nine months through after all, he thought, maybe it wouldn't be so bad with Carrie to help him.

Carrie continued the embrace as their mouths entwined, and she pulled one arm softly away from the clinch and felt in her back pocket. She eased the medallion out of the tight pocket and dropped it behind her in the sand making a small hole with her foot, and then covering it as best she could with the sand. As they pulled apart and started to continue their walk she took one last look behind her, but already, after just a few paces, she could see no trace of where they had stood.

She smiled to herself as they walked arm in arm. She had already been sure that Stan would have never been able to change back to Ann. The new Ann would never have let her. After all, what mother would ever give up her own baby? She took one last look at where she had thought she had dropped the medallion before turning away.

Still, why take chances!
