The short-haired girl in the last panel reminds me of Canada's Own and always fabulous Gregory Gorgeous.

I love Julie's use of old dress pattern illustrations. My mom used to do a lot of sewing for herself and my younger sisters from McCall's and Buttericks pattern packages back in the 60's and 70's and I always loved seeing the pretty girls and the hairstyles of the period on them.

I LOVE slumber party covers - viewing them and doing them. Nothing like a good head full of curlers to spike my interest. Transvestite Slumber Party is a mistresspiece! Are they all TVs and this is all consensual and fun, or is Mikey the only TV and this is forced femme? Does Mikey expect the girls or gurls to be there or not? - what are the girls or gurls seeing? Nice work, Julie. Simple cover, very clean, but implies a whole lot. I'm thinking I'll have to try my hand at a cover like this, one of these days. I'll let you know when I do. :-)
