Great work as usual Amanda. Love the images you use to illustrate your stories.

Thanks for the props, TG. Must be why I like your work too--we've both got good taste! :-)

Luv --

Every few days I like to check your site in the hopes of an update. And although new material is sometimes few and far between (let's face it: You CAN'T rush quality!), you never fail to satisfy and entertain. You are among the few writers whom I re-read on a continual basis, whose variations on a theme never grow cliched or predictable, and whose command of the narrative is downright beguiling.

And in regards to your latest offering, what can I say except WELL DONE!

GREAT horror story. The selfish, amoral mom is a great villain!

** "You wrecked my life," I muttered, half-hoping she wouldn't hear.
Mother frowned. "My daughter doesn't seem to know how to act like a lady."
Ms. Grundy stood before me, touched my face and closed her eyes. ... And I wanted to be a lady. **

This passage reminded me so much of a passage from another great mom-villain TG horror story, Karen Elizabeth L's "Jamie"

** "Tell me you honestly don't like the way you feel right now Jamie." Mom pressed. "Try to tell me that you don't like the way your panties feel and that you really don't like feeling the cool air as it swirls under your dress."

"I don't like it mom," I screamed, amazed that I had gotten away with it. "I don't want to be a girl, get me out of this stuff!" I twisted and turned, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't reach the buttons that held me in my frilly prison. Without help, I was stuck. Stuck as a nine year old girl in a frilly dress and even frillier underwear!

Mom shook her head in dismay. "Calm down Jamie, I don't want you messing up your new dress."

I refused to calm down though and began even wilder gyrations, trying to remove the hated dress.

Mom said something , then she smiled at me and I immediately calmed down. I stared in the mirror for a few seconds then my hands began to flip my dress back and forth. Soon I was smiling and giggling, twirling back and forth in front of the mirror, like any other girl, thrilled to be wearing such a pretty dress. **

In both cases an innocent unwilling male victim is changed physically into the girl his mother wants and when the boy in the new girl indicates he doesn't like it, she simply changes his mind so "she" does. (or has it changed)
