Here's 1781-1785!

1781 - Playmate

Original: Advance "Sew-Easy" pattern envelope, #2708

Win! - Win! - Win?

1782 - Deadly Deception?

Original: Our Love Story comics, #9

Will the Gurl Gumshoes get the gangsters?

1783 - Silver Lining

Original: Other than that I found this on the "net", I have no idea! It looks like a postcard illustration, but isn't the right dimensions.

It's not easy to become a Disney Princess I have an actress friend who is on their top 50 "We'll call you if we have an opening." list. To get there she had to send in her headshot and resume' and then be invited to audition in Florida, where she was one of over 300 girls. I think she said she was one of ten added to the "Top 50" list.

1784 - Prom Patriot

Original: G.I. War Brides comics, #7

Ask not what your country can do for you ...

1785 - Missy's Mistake

Original: Saddle Romances comics, #9

Additions to the bet were that (1)it applied to all horseback riding, not just competition, and (2) that "Missy" had to enter at least all the competitions Mike had entered the year before, and compete in the same events, and (3) "a dress" included all the proper female undergarments and feminine boots as well as the actual dress. (but Missy was certainly allowed to go beyond that to make herself more feminine if she chose.)

If Missy found herself laughed at and rode away, it would be a sidesaddle skedaddle :-)

Strangely enough, no one, not even Mike, thought to ask what Jill's penalty would be if she lost.

Silver Lining uses a very nice picture.

And I don't think I'd challenge Jack/Jill...!

Thanks, Maria. Here's 1786-1790

1786 - Two Of A Kind

Original: Just Married comics, #10

You think you know someone, and then ...

1787 - Disney Got It Wrong!

Original: The Witching Hour comics, #56

The Prince might have had a taste for sugar and spice, but The Beast's tastes were more along the lines of snails and puppy dog tails - sautéed. :-)

1788 - Diplomette

Original: Conan The Barbarian comics, #173

Given that they'd endowed him with DD cups because King Cragar was a "breast man", it would probably be a face to boobs meeting. :-)

1789 - Kindred Spirits

Original: Diary Confessions comics, #14

Their marriage would be legal in all fifty states.

1790 - Glad tidings Ring

Original: A Victorian Christmas Card

Don't you wish it had happened to you!?

It's January 15, but this issue isn't late, just way early. :-)

Here's 1791-1795!

1791 - Old Age And Experience ...

Original: I took this from Tobe Adame, removing his text. I didn't think you'd mind, Tobe, because my take is entirely different from yours. If you do, let me know and I'll remove it.

Don't mess with Granny!

1792 - A Death In The Family

Original: Young Romance comics, 1963 series, #135

Jane had been buried with the medallion around John's neck.

1793 - Hit Me With Your Best Shot

Original: Woman's' World magazine, September, 1929

Her kids know Ma-ma's family runs by the Golden Rule: She who has the gold makes the rules.

1794 - Romance Rivals

Original: First Romance comics, #43

A little Girl on Gurl action. Sharpen those nails, ladies!

1795 - The Reward?

Original: Title page of a story, probably in a magazine, "A Secret Place" by Edwin Lanham. My guess would be early 1960s

Of course neither Mother nor Mary asked Andy. After all, what boy wouldn't want to be a girl?

Okay, here are 1796-1800! I will now post 1781-1800 to the main site and that will finish off the 1700's. 1800. Whodathunkit!

1796 - Double Whammy Mammy

Original: Heart Throbs comics, #121

One for the history books, two for the kid, three for the single mom, four to carry on.

1797 - Overtime

Original: Millie The Model comics, #120

This one was inspired by all the TGfiction hero(ine)s who mistakenly thought their transformations were only going to be for one day.

1798 - Ex Exposed

Original: Wedding Bells comics, #1

Will they succeed? Will Jim be happy if they succeed?

1799 - Unhappily Ever After

Original: I have no information on this painting.

One look at the expression and body language of the little girl tells one "she" is really a little boy being petticoat punished. Well, it does if one has entered the TGfiction Zone. :-)

1800 - Femininity Required

Original: My Confession comics, #9

Yep, another "hundred" cover, and another pic of ME, as a redhead this time!

Here's 1801-1805! Enjoy and comment.

1801 - Gender Jewelry

Original: My Own Romance comics, #53

Lord and lady of the Rings :-)

1802 - Waiting Game

Original: Romantic Story comics, #29

The first time the phone rang it was Cardholder Services: "There's no problem with your credit cards at this time, but ... The second time the phone rang it was a political survey: In the next election would you vote for ... The third time the phone rang it was the village: Your street will be closed for repairs for the next ... After the 17th call, he ripped the phone cord out of the wall socket and threw the phone across the room, shattering it. HE, past caring that HE still looked like an attractive woman, stormed out of the room, went across the street to the neighborhood pub where SHE drank into the wee hours of the morning. Thus she never got the 18th call, which was from Marlee who wanted to tell her that everything could be undone, but it had to be done before midnight otherwise there'd be some mental changes and a six month wait.

1803 - Femininely Financed

Original: Wedding Bells comics, #17

Jacqui worked her way up the company ladder till she was made the CEO. She then hired her brother as her plus-sized secretary and named "her" Doris.

1804 - Trampatic Changes

Original: Torchy comics, #3

Don't mess with the office girls! (You'd never know it but they're worse that cheerleaders!)

1805 - Reactionary Thoughts

Original: Love Diary comics, #89

Since this takes place in TGfiction Land, Mom was, of course, overjoyed.

Here's 1806-1810. enjoy and COMMENT!

1806 - Silk Purse

Original: Secrets Of Love And Marriage comics, #25

Auntie got a sow's ear - good thing she didn't believe in the old saying!

1807 - The Groom Wore White

Original: Katy Keene Glamour comics, #1

B1 + B2 = B3
1) Boy
2) Bouquet
3) Bride

1808 - Unwanted Uniform

Original: True Detective magazine, February, 1957

It was one thing for Margo to intellectually know her husband looked like Rita Hayworth at work; it was quite another to have "Rita " walk through their door calling out in "her" sultry soprano, "Honey, I'm home!"

1809 - Fun For Who?

Original: First Love comics, #11 (British series)

In Home Economics class my "new sister" learned how to catch a husband. My brother's revenge was that the one "she" caught was the one I was fishing for! (Fortunately for me, Tommy, 100% hetero, practiced "catch and release"; he came back to me and we were married. Apparently Tommy told his wife the whole story, for many years later, after Tommy's death, his wife thanked me: Tommy had treated her like a princess and she'd never had to lift a finger around the house. Giggling, she said he'd been the perfect wife, even appearing as "Tammy" from time to time, because of that home economics course, for which I was responsible.)

1810 - (Wo)manipulated Into Womanhood
http://fictionmania.tv/stories/readtextstory.html? storyID=300083979224894463

Original: Millie The Model comics, #132

This was inspired by and could be the cover for Vickie Tern's story, "True Love"; I've even used her character names. Here's the link.

Here's 1811-1815!

1811 - Switch Class

Original: The Saturday Evening Post, January 26, 1918

I taught 8th grade for many years and my school never offered a class like this! However, at my high school freshmen boys had to take a quarter of Home EC and girls a quarter of Shop.

1812 - Only The Lonely

Original: Secret Hearts comics, #147

Usually when we do regret what we did for love it's because it was the wrong kind of love.

1813 - Attitude

Original: No info was given about this original. My guess is it's a magazine illustration, either for a cover or internal story, and from the 1950s.

It's difficult to say who will have it harder at the beach. Tommy has anticipated what will happen and has prepared for it by "Tammy" adopting a positive attitude. Bobby, prompted by Officer Jones, is doing a good thing and supporting his friend. However, neither has faced their peers like they will at the beach. My personal experience being of doubtful passability and still out and about is that Attitude is 85% or more the key to success. In 12 years of being out and about enfemme, I acted just like my character Tommy/Tammy - no shame, no show of fear, "I have every right to be here!" ... and a bit of show biz - and I never had a bad experience. No hassling from the boys equals no peer pressure on Bobby to go along with the hassling, and it's a win - win - win all around situation. Of course if the girls get involved ...?

1814 - Who Ya Gonna Call ...
http://tgcaps.com/caps/modcovers/jezzi/Vaingirls/v aingirls-701-800/Vaingirls746.jpg.php

Original: Ghost Stories magazine, January, 1928

I treated this in a more benign manner in issue #746. Here's a link,

Here's 1816-1820. I will now start a new folder, 1801-1900, at the main site and post the first twenty there to start it. Meanwhile, enjoy these five ; any comments will be appreciated.

1816 - ... Without A Paddle

Original: True Detective magazine, November, 1959

As soon as I saw this cover, I immediately thought, "Cinderella"! However, I must admit that what really attracted me to it had nothing to do with TG. It was the 1959 Chevvy, one of my favorite cars. It's a one-of-a-kind. I love the front end "eyebrows" and the "tear drop" taillights. GM found both too expensive so they were eleiminated from the 1960 models.

1817 - KISMIF

Original: Quaker Puffed Wheat magazine ad, probably circa
1920's

One thing I learned from my days as a Cub Scout leader and carried over into my teaching of older boys - and girls - was KISMIF, "Keep It Simple. Make It Fun." - a recipe for success that actually works.

Also, "Mary Poppins" is one of my favorite movies / characters, and I've always thought Julie Andrews and Dick VanDyke were perfect for their roles.

1818 - What's Next?
http://tgcaps.com/caps/modpanels/lorna/LornaToons8 /LToon+797+Training+Regimen.jpg.php

http://fictionmania.tv/searchdisplay/authordisplay .html?word=2003

Original: Another from Lorna, LT797. Here's the link to her work.

This one was influenced by all the "misbehaving boss/husband/son/boyfriend gets made over into escalating caricatures of femininity" stories out there, specifically by the "Josie" stories by Josie Girlyc; I've included a link.

1819 - Too Close To Home

Original: Teen Confessions comics, #14

Small towns are like "Cheers": Everybody knows your name.

1820 - Lady Killer

Original: "Chinatown" movie poster

Here we have a man who knows Kipling is right and uses that knowledge in his "work". :-).

Here's 1821-1825

1821 - Invitation To Womanhood

Original: Heart Throbs comics, #82

To anyone who believes that "The Little Woman" will be changing back to Mike after the wedding: I have this bridge in New York to sell you ...

1822 - Days Of Wine And Rodents
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midnight_in_the_Garde n_of_Good_and_Evil

Original: Millie The Model comics, #112

I just always assumed Millie's coat on this original was a chinchilla coat, probably because I know there are white chinchillas. I was rereading "Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil" and had gotten through the chapters on The Lady Chablis when I pulled this MTM original up, and I thought, "If a drag queen can be named after a wine, why not her coat?" I'm including a link to the Wikipedia site for "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. I highly reccomend both the book and the movie.

1823 - Dumper Doll

Original: Young Romance comics (1947 series), #47

What goes around comes around.

1824 - Three Times A Winner

Original: Young Romance comics (1947 series), #33

Bad karma, man ... er, woman.

1825 - Skating And Skirting

Original: Patsy And Hedy comics, #2

Well, isn't it obvious that if one is going to figure skate one needs to have a figure first? ... Well, it is in TGfiction Land! :-)

I know I just posted 1821-1825, but I had 1826-1830 done, so here they are. Please read my comments at least on 1827 and 1824 because I ask you questions and you can help me out, if you like, by answering them.

1826 - Eat Your Heart Out!
http://tgcaps.com/caps/modpanels/femur/whetting_th e_appetite.jpg.php

Original: From femur, #72 I used her basic idea and added to it. Here's a link.

I added the military aspects and the offer to the basic "bigger tits = more money" theme. There are a number of stories floating around in TGfiction Land involving boys putting on the "girl uniform" to avoid the draft and returning vets, like my hero(ine), putting it on because it's better than one that gets them shot at.

1827 - Liar's Club

Original: Laugh comics, #58

Except for early on, I've mostly stayed away from Archie originals that feature the iconic Archie characters because I don't like to use them as themselves - Others do that much better than I can - and because when I have given them other identities commentators have said that they can't think of them as other than Archie, Betty, etc.* That's why in this one I changed Archie and veronica's hair color and shortened Jughead's nose. Does it work for you?
* - I don't think this applies to other s in the Archie Comics group such as Wilbur, Sabrina, Josie, etc..

1828 - Sweet Music

Original: First Love comics, #26

Musicians! Whaddayagonnado?

1929 - Born To Be Bra'd

Perma Lift bra ad from the '50's

I was listening to a song by "The Fab Four" when I saw this ad featuring another Fab Four ... or should I say Fab Eight. :-) So Beatles became Bullets for obvious reasons. This is a unique VGcomics issue where the '50's Lingerie Zone, the '60's-'90's Pop Music Zones, and the TGfiction Zone overlap!

BTW, "Born to be bra'd" is the groups slogan and "Double Barreled is their first album. Any idea's for future album titles?

1830 - Snowed Under

Original: Youthful Love Romances comics, #3

The expression on the girl's face inspired this one. I flipped the original, but either way it looks like a "Damn!" or "Oh, Shit!" expression to me, certainly not a romantic one.
