Here's 1521-1525.

1521 - Big Hairy Deal!

Originals: The three small pics are from Maritess Concepcion's "Hair and Accessories" websites. Thanks, Maritess. The large pic is from Google's "Pixie Haircut Images" page.

This ones a tribute to all the "Hair" TGfiction stories.

1522 - Secretarial Seduction
http://tgcaps.com/caps/modpanels/lorna/LornaToons6 /LToon+592+Company+Policy.jpg.php

Original: Another from Lorna, LT592. Thanks, Lorna.

Take a look at Lorna's original. I took the same basic idea, company makes male employee be a secretary. In mine, though, it's boss into secretary, not new hire, and the new secretary discovers "she" has the skills to be more in charge than "he" ever was.

1523 - Male Model Marriage Maids OR The Femalliteration of the Meyers Men

Original: Secrets of Young Brides comics, #32

Lots of text on this one, but that's because I kept the style of the original.

This one is a tribute to all the stories where a male reluctantly - at first - crossdresses to help others. Sorry that 1525 also has the theme of men modeling wedding apparel and of it being a family affair, but hopefully the differences in the two are enough.

1524 - BFFs: Clothing the Rift

Original: Avon paperback book cover, "Butterfield 8" by John O'Hara

Friendship is too precious to be destroyed over clothing.

1525 - Flee or Follow?

Original: Darling Love comics, #11

Sorry that 1523 also had the theme of men modeling wedding apparel and of it being a family affair, but hopefully the differences in the two are enough. This one is also a tribute to all the stories where a male reluctantly - at first - crossdresses to help others.

Here's 1526 - 1530 (double issue)

1526 - Give The Gentleman What He Wants.

Original: Barbie comics, #22

Old, rich, and male may beat old, rich, and female, but young, soon-to-be-rich and female beats old, rich, and male any day! (DISCLAIMER: May not be true for some non-western cultures.)

1527 - Oldbiddied!

Original: Black Magic comics, #14

Resemblance to a certain well known TGfiction wizard is both intended and implied. :-)

1528 - Spillover

Original: Secret Hearts comics, #115

What happens when your job starts taking over the rest of your life?

1529 - Chick Chitchat

Original: A photo from one of Maritess Concepcion's "Hair and Accessories" websites. Thanks, Maritess.

Ooh man, hear those crazy chicks.

Who talks girl talk?
Girls talk girl talk.
Girly girl girl talk!
We like girl talk!

Apologies to the Royal Teens

1530fc & 1530bc - Ignoring Rodney King

Originals: Crime SuspenStories comics: fc #15, bc #21

Here's 1531 - 1535

1531 - My Buddies, My Babysitters

Original: Dead Pool comics, #52 ... The little girl pic came from a birthday card.

From Superhero to cute little gurl. How horrible, dear readers! ... Well, maybe not :-)

1532 - No Contest
http://fictionmania.tv/stories/readtextstory.html? storyID=300083979224894463

Original: Young Love comics, #57

This was inspired by a Vickie Tern story, "True Love". It's at Fictionmania; follow the link. If your like me, you'll get angry reading it - angry at the selfish manipulating wife and angry at the clueless wimp husband who lets himself be manipulated. You'll swear you won't read another VT story. But you will.

1533 - Ungrateful

Originals: Two pics from Maritess Concepcion's "Hair and Accessories" websites. Thanks, Maritess.

I'm sure the point of the photo of the three girls was to show off the backs of their hairdos, but it took me right back to childhood punishment, when my parents wanted me to "think about something". For me it was standing in a corner, "corner time", but I'd also heard of "wall time", same idea. Then I went looking for a pic of a woman who looked like she was disappointed in those "gurls".

1534 - A Female Man
http://tgcaps.com/caps/modpanels/lorna/LornaToons1 /gwave_no_expenses.jpg.php

Original: Another from Lorna, LT-089. Come back to us, Lorna! Follow the link.

Her name was Lola ...

1535 - Father Knows Best

Original: Secret Hearts comics, #127

"Oh,daddy,dear,You know you're still number one ..."
Usually it's the mom who wants her petticoat punished son to stay her "daughter" after the punishment time is up and connives to keep him in skirts; here the mom is actively arranging to change "Her" back to her son, and will probably force the issue if "daddy" doesn't intervene.

Here's 1536 - 1540. All five are from postcards. I discovered Cover Browser's vintage postcards (follow link) there are 764 of them currently, many with TG potential.
http://www.coverbrowser.com/covers/vintage-postcar ds
In the next couple of days I will post 1521 - 1540 to the main site.

1536 - Being Each Other

Original: Cover Browser Vintage Postcard #383

He was an adorable little cutie Pie, She was a handsome little soldier. Pretend or reality?

1537 - Femme The PM
http://tgcaps.com/caps/modcovers/jezzi/Vaingirls/V aingirls%201101-1200/Vaingirls+1197.jpg.php

Original: Cover Browser Vintage Postcard #502

This is the second time I've used femmearyanization. Follow the link.

1538 - Once A Year Woman

Originals: Cover Browser Vintage Postcards #83, 347, 454, & 587

Mr. Smythe's punishment consists not only of his once a year woman time but of the rest of the year wondering what kid of woman Mistress will have him be and what she'll have "her" do.

The years shown:
The first year, 1901: The Debutant: Miss Smythe is unveiled before "her" entire the family (with Mistress tatiana acting as Mistress of Ceremonies)
1906: The Butterfly: Miss Smythe does a modern dance routine (choreographed by Mistress tatiana) as she moves from house to house trick or treating.
1909: The Actress: Miss Smythe performs as "Hamletta" in the all-feminine version of Shakespeare's play (adaptation written by Mistress Tatiana)
Any ideas, dear readers, for 1902, 1903, 1904, 1905, 1907, 1908, 1910, & 1911 (the last year)?

1539 - Giving The Devils His Due

Original: Cover Browser Vintage Postcard #380

I did this one for Lorna. (Of course The Devil has made a mistake. :-)

1540 - Winning the Sweep-stakes!

Original: Cover Browser Vintage Postcard #13

My immediate thought on seeing this original was, "Snow White!" but anything I came up with along that line resulted in too much text.

Here are 1541 -1545:

1541 - Fading Lady

Original: Professor Zamorra comics (German) #26

I started this one several years ago. It was supposed to be issue eight hundred and something, but I could never get an idea that wouldn't need way too much text. Eventually I forgot about it. Yesterday I found it while going thru some old folders, and the idea for this cover just popped into my head. That's the way it works sometimes.

1542 - Trickster

Original: The Schoolgirl magazine, July 9, 1938

There are quite a few of these Schoolgirl covers and many have TG potential. I like the use of only orange, shades of blue, and off-white. If this cover leaves you wondering who's tricking who, that's the point.

1543 - Livin' It Up At The Hotel California

You pretty much have to know "Hotel California" to get this one. Follow the the lyrics and the song links.

1544 - Let Go

Original: Teen Age Love comics, #80

A hard choice for a reluctant girl

1545 - Sky Queens

Here's 1546 - 1550!

1546 - Wonder Generations

Original: Wonder Woman comics (1987 series) #184

I'm assuming this original was about Wonder Woman of the late 1980s somehow meeting her 1940s self or ancestor. I just gave it a TG twist.

1547 - A Girl among the Gurls

Original: A photo from one of Maritess Concepcion's "Hair and Accessories" websites. What would I do without you, Maritess? Thanks.

Being the only girl at an all boy party would make a girl a little nervous. If the boys were gurls would it make her more or less so?

1548 - Surgical Switcheroo

Original: Linda Carter Student Nurse comics, #2

One of my few covers where none of the male characters pictured are enfemme. I did this for the "coming out" play on words.

1549 - Ooh, BOYS!

http://www.readbookonline.net/readOnLine/2695/

Original: Secret Hearts comics, #144

Kipling wrote in his poem, "The Ladies":

When you get to a man in the case,
They're like as a row of pins --
For the Colonel's Lady an' Judy O'Grady
Are sisters under their skins!

In regard to my cover, I would substitute," For Suzie O'Grady and the TS Lady", for line 3. Follow the link for Kipling's poem.

1550 - A Bully Fate

http://www.storysite.org/story/leighannesentencedt o~01.html

Original: A photo from one of Maritess Concepcion's "Hair and Accessories" websites. What would I do without you, Maritess? Thanks.

From facial features and expression, I believe there's a good chance the person getting curlered in the photo really is a boy. The photo reminded me of a story written by Karen Elizabeth L, "Leigh Anne: Sentenced to Life". It became the inspiration for this cover. Follow the link for Karen's story,

Here's 1551 - 1555

1551 - Death Duties

Original: A fashion plate titled "Newest French fashions" from a women's magazine, circa 1880s I would guess. I found it at Yahoo's "Victorian womens' fashions images" web page.

What's an honorable newly widowed father who loves and accepts his transgendered son to do? In TGfictionland, the answer is obvious.

1552 - End Time

Original: Young Love comics, 1960 series, August/September, 1962

When I first saw this original, the girl in green just didn't look quite right to me; she looked awkward, clenching her hands, holding herself stiffly and looking down as if to make sure her feet were in the right places, etc. and it struck me that she could be a crossdressed boy trying to act like a girl but having had no previous practice. I had just watched "Cinderella" with my granddaughter, so that's where the redhead being evil and the whole "change at midnight" bits came from.

1553 - UNholy smokes!

Original: Top Love Stories comics, #18

The twist of course is that it's NOT Jim's transition that is upsetting Fred.

1554 - Football facade

Original: I don't remember where I got this original. I believe the artist is Richard Sargent and that it was in an issue of the Saturday Evening Post from 1958.

My guess is that Mom already knows all about "Aunt Janice" and "Bonnie". I wouldn't be surprised if when Dad and Bobby get home they are greeted by Mom wearing the same outfit.

1555 - Two Faces Have I

Original: Young Love comics, 1960 series, August/September, 1960

No TGfictionland here, just a very real world tough choice.

I like the last one.
I feel it would have been more fun without the dialogue box in the corner.
to me many stories are better when the right things are left unsaid.
"To Kiss or to be kissed. " pretty much says it all and matches the scene well.

I don't quite get the UNholy Smokes comment about intervention.

The others aren't really my thing, no better or worse than the thousands of others like them though.

Hi Tristra; thanks for the comment.

RE: UNholy Smokes

Fred's attitude is the norm, no one seems at all upset or sees anything out of the ordinary about Jim's sex change. They ARE upset about Janet's smoking (probably Jim hadn't smoked) The intervention would be to get her to quit smoking, nothing to do with his sex change.

Here are 1556 - 1560. All five are based on Saturday Evening Post covers from 1959-1961. I will now post 1541 - 1560 to the main site.

1556 - Revenge of the Nerd

Original: The Saturday Evening Post, October 17, 1959

This is another where I think the story should be written. The first quarter would be Pritchard's story, but the rest would be Fred/Fritzie and Barry/Baryl's stories after Pritchard lifts the trance

1557 - When the Fat "Lady" Sings
VT story link:
http://fictionmania.tv/stories/readtextstory.html? storyID=29738609872411218

Original: The Saturday Evening Post, December 16, 1961

Richard Sargent, the Artist, titled the original cover picture, "The fat Lady Sings". I thought she sort of looked like the other old guys, so in TGfiction Land ...
Then I thought what would a Cross dressed CEO be singing and it reminded me of one of Vickie Tern's earliest stories, "Second Hand Rose"; I've added a link.

1558 - New Guy, New Gurls

Original: The Saturday Evening Post, January 30, 1960

The artist, Amos Sewell, titled this original, "Who will he ask?" I thought the girls looked, first of all, unhappy, then, more like they were glaring at the guy rather than each other, which I think was the artist's intent. Sooo, in TGfictionland that meant the two gurls were petticoat punished boys unhappy with their lots and definitely NOT wanting to be picked to dance with another guy.

1559 - Prom Changes

Original: The Saturday Evening Post, April 18, 1959

The artist, Kurt Ard, titled this original, "First Prom Dress". I immediately thought, "first prom dress, but not necessarily first prom outfit."

1560 - Quick Change Artist

Original: The Saturday Evening Post, September 12, 1959

In TGfictionland, what does a stay-at-home dad wear during the day? Well, the answer is obvious, isn't it? From the date, I think this is probably a back to school issue; if that's the case, Dad has been waiting several months to indulge. No wonder he was so fast changing.

Great and varied work as always Jezzi, re the Home Alone, I am sure there are a lot who can relate to this one! Also loved the Senior Prom, I just adore the way dad was so un-perplexed and laid back about.
Cheers,
