Oooh, you are bad!
But in general, a weird sense of humour is very welcome. :-)

A bunch of fun re-captions. I especially enjoyed Foot Throbs.
I'll never be able to look at another issue of Heart Throbs without thinking about how they might be re-titled. ;-)

All are very funny!
Can't go wrong with fart Jokes!
They would look better if you used a comic font for the word balloons. Just Google fonts and a bunch of free font sites will come up.

Mr Ram: What fonts she can use will depend upon whatever software program helen_buckley is using to create her covers with. Helen: For comic book fonts, there's already a thread on free fonts in the TG Comics forums: Free fonts for art and recappingYou might also want to take a look at what suedenim has written in: Comic Book Recaptioning Tips & Tricks

I found this cover and it struck me that it was crying out for a make-over, but also cos most of the work was done already by the original creator, look and see if you agree with me? Helen

Helen: It looks like your having fun. I really enjoyed your Big Sisters issue. Your Heart Throbs/Cross-Dressed Romances cover was interesting. That cover would also make a fun alien possession cover. [If it was me, I'd try to create a recap that made the witch in the background the bitter old crossdresser that she looks like. ;-)] ["Different kinds" is terminology from Baraminology, but I don't think that the lady in the comic book cover is refering to the same thing. ;-)]

Weird feeling of deja vu: The situation in Andy (April No.3) may have actually happened to me...

I found these on a maids site and I thought they lent themselves to some bending, as did the expression on the girls face in the other pic. Helen

New Adventures of Indiana Jones. Seeing as how the new movie is due I thought I'd offer a plot twist! Helen

The Candy comic book covers are great fun to use for recaps because there's so much drama in most of the them. I turned one into an Andy comic, and Jezzi has used several for her Vaingirls comic book covers. I enjoyed the punch line you used in your very first Andy [Andy.jpg], ""Yeah, I'd never be seen dead in an outfit like that...again!!!". I also liked your rewrite of Andy_2.jpg. I agree that's such a classic double take from the guy that it could be used for many different storylines. It might be fun to do a caption contest with that cover. ;-) Here's my Andy cover:

That's a great idea, take a pic and see who has the best caption? And AndiJF, sorry for the pun (not really) cos I love 'em. I just did a basic makeover for this one, the semi-snooty expressions seem to lend themselves for some awful dialogue. Helen

I like the mistress and maid cap... Edwardian perhaps? Where did the original image come from, if you don't mind my asking?

Magic_gone_wrong: That's a great picture, and you added a fun caption that takes nice advantage of the expressions of the two females in the photo.
With the two outfits, it looks like it should be from some BBC upstairs/downstairs drama series, but with the plain gray background instead of a wood-paneled wall, my guess is that it's from a stock photo source.

Hi Andi, I don't mind you asking at all, l found them in a yahoo group, a housemaids one, they have a selection of stills from movies and television shows as you correctly guessed SoCal. I think the programme was a Spanish one. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/adoro_ser_mucama2/
I suppose their membership shall be increasing now! **LOL** cheers, Helen I like the mistress and maid cap... Edwardian perhaps? Where did the original image come from, if you don't mind my asking?

Hi, I just have too much time on my hands I guess. I've been doing a sort of follow on from one of my prior ones, a Big Sister series. I also fiddled round with some others I found. I hope you like them Helen
